We are a small photography business based in Scotland. Early adopters of all things fine. New project launched, get your early Christmas presents... Clutches, earrings, cushions or custom upcycled fashion from old loved items! https://houseofeff.com

It's progressive. Different parts of your income get taxes differently so effective tax rate is closer to 43-49%.

Oh did we mention our lovely health insurance tax which is an additional 10%?

It's never called tax but it has been reported it is being mixed in with the general government budget.

But hey, it's not a tax!

Aye.. It's a tough tax bracket.

To clarify, this is called the "ยฃ100k tax trap"

The quoted 69.5% is only on the income between ยฃ100 and ยฃ125k. This is due to simultaneous reduction of personal tax allowance between those income figures.

Tax drops back down to 45% above ยฃ125k.

In England the tax trap is 60%.

A common way to avoid the tax trap is to put anything above 100k into your pension, tax free. Only when you earn above ยฃ130k it's worth suffering the tax trap.

Coding a rule to ignore displaying reposts initiated by the account owner on their profile page.

It's enough to see the repost count, right?

Many accounts repost content. And I think this way, when people browse someones npub post history, they wouldn't have to dig through redundant reposts. i believe it would be a net gain for usability.

What do you think?

Personally I don't mind it. It's often something good that I missed... Haven't seen too much spammy behaviour around this..

Do you have a screenshot?

Blurry images is a feature to sometimes show a low resolution version quickly while the full resolution is being downloaded.
