Если бы русский перевели на латиницу, скажем так, сильно лучше бы не стало, пришлось бы спецсимволов навернуть с лопаты или конструкций shch. Я проекты советские не смотрел, но почему то не сомневаюсь, что там всё было сильно так себе. Короче, против кириллицы я по факту ничего не имею. Как сплав греческого и латинского письма пойдёт, но страхолюдства отдельных букв это не отменяет.
