If you're looking for a challenge, try intermittent fasting.

Takes 2 weeks max to work through the suffering but then the perceived effort to keep it up goes basically to zero.

There is this part of my brain which refuses to believe these arguments are as dumb as they feel. Like, what am I missing? Thr argument goes like

"if you can cut something up into tiny pieces, that means the supply isn't scarce"

But wait. Splitting the pieces up doesn't increase the supply. The information about the TOTAL WHOLE SUPPLY is almost perfectly symmetric across the economy. Everyone knows the total supply that there is and how much there will be. If every small piece has weight unit n, splitting the pieces up further doesn't add weight to the whole system. Since the economy knows how much total whole supply there is, they can readjust the value of any smaller denomination very quickly.

I keep seeing articles about childless couples and singles atm and how happy they are...I even read an article the other day where a woman claimed her friends have confused they regret having kids because they envy her freedom...

Not only am I calling BS on that last one, but the insidious mental programming, encouraging selfishness and childlessness across the press is terrifying. We already have a serious population deficit thanks to dramatically falling birth rates.

These human hating fuckers are trying to encourage more people to avoid the one thing they were biologically created to do.

I think part of the problem is that fiat degeneracy has made having a family so expensive that people have to tell themselves that they're making a decision to not have children because they simply can't afford it.

It's easier to make excuses about how life is better without kids when you're simply unable to have a family due to the prohibitive costs.

The problem with Bitcoin is that it forces you to accept that you were either wrong or ignorant about how money works.

I hear people dismiss money as ‘made-up’ and therefore not worthy of serious consideration.

In a hyper-financialized system where you must swim or die, being wrong is often catastrophic. Therefore the incentive to study Bitcoin and consider how wrong you were is non-existent

They’re positioning themselves to go after the centralised sections of ‘crypto’ and will likely succeed in squashing a lot of it (in the USA at least). They’ll be hoping that Bitcoin takes so much collateral damage that it dies.

It’s gonna get pretty gnarly out there, they won’t give up without a hell of a fight.

They will ultimately fail though
