Emily managed to sharpen one end of her fav antler down to a thin sharp point and i was concerned she would eventually knock it off and be hacking it up in the middle of the night, kinda like the dog under the dinner table in Christmas Vacation..little bit of trimming and good to go

Real world shit...that's what most of mine look like, especially with flap discs, the guard really limits you. I do try to run it when practically possible tho, especially with the zips/cutoff discs, I've had them come apart. Face shields never hurt either. If I accidentally drop the grinder, that wheel gets shit canned immediately..

When your cucumbers get sick and start to die back, 90% of the time this is your cause. Behold the cucumber beetle. They look similar to a lady bug but are yellow and black and a bit more elongated.
He does very little direct damage but transmits CMV (cucumber mosaic virus). I have been improving soil, switched to China Jade as my primary cuke and using manual controls (squish and feed the fish) and get more cukes then I could ever use every year.

Never seen the little asshole but witnessed their end result, completely trashed all of our cucumbers a couple seasons ago...trying out the China jade this year....
