Hillsdale has some great courses online for free. They’ve also become very competitive for prospective students within the last few years given the political goings on in this country. Last I heard their acceptance rate was something like 20% of all applications.

Good idea. I did send them an email but never received a reply. Thanks!

When you plug in a USB-A cable and it just goes in the first time, does this indicate some sort of glitch in the simulation?

My kids will not be fighting in your senseless war. nostr:note1s064wsxre3uylq9rzfmrsa4lfktggj8zq3cet6xkrrjulkxfvd0s26kq8l

That’s kind of what I was thinking.

I tried. My teenage kids have zero interest in learning Linux. Of course, they’re not terribly interested in driving either.

Maybe it’s that they think Linux is the OG’s OS like how they think Facebook is the OG’s social media.

I had ~130,000 #sats on a #lightning wallet through #bluewallet before they closed down their #lndhub node. I didn’t realize they were doing this until recently. The balance still shows in BlueWallet but I’m unable to do anything with it. Did I lose these sats?

I remember the days of being able to go to the airport just for the fun of it. Now you’re presumed to be a criminal if you don’t have a sanctioned reason to be there.

At Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (KCLE), they used to have an observation deck that people could go outside and watch the goings on while waiting for departing or arriving flights. This was before 9/11 and before the requirement to have a ticket to get down the concourse. It’s still there but it’s long since been closed. It’s too bad, really. I spent a part of my high school days there. That place got me into Amateur Radio from running into a likeminded person who happened to be in Amateur Radio. That place also helped stoke my desire to get my pilot’s license, which I did do. That place also helped keep me thin because I would ride my bike out there. It’s all changed.

Started running a Bitcoin full node a few days ago. When running “bitcoin-cli -netinfo” it shows network connection info as expected but it shows “score” and a number that periodically increases. I haven’t been able to find info on this. What does this mean or do? #bitcoin

Numerous others have recently said the same thing. I guess this went into effect a few days ago.

I find myself saying “Bitcoin solves this” more and more.

I’ve got some very leftie friends who give me the business all the time for my political views. It’s crazy how tuned in to the MSM they are and they just eat it all up. Funny thing is when I come to the party with some facts and stats, they all shut up because they can’t refute any of it.
