I refuse the play the preferred pronouns game. I guess that partly explains why my own daughter hasn’t spoken to me in over two years. She doesn’t realize that I’m the only one supporting her. Someday hopefully she’ll realize everyone else has been encouraging the destruction of her self and identity and that they are not her supporters even though they say they are.
I resemble that unhinged remark.
I’m a relative lightweight at 27. I guess I’m know what I’m doing with my next 30 years.
I mainly refuse to give out my SSN, too. A few months ago, the HR guy at my employer demanded that we all plug our most sensitive info, including that of family members, into a “totally secure and private” form on a third party website so the third party company could use that info to try to find us a better health insurance plan. I refused to do so and I’m still employed. He even sent out targeted emails to those of us who didn’t comply. Interestingly, I received an email today that the HR guy is no longer an employee effective immediately. It was definitely one of those “he’s been fired” emails rather than one of those glowy emails when someone leaves on good terms.

Interesting idea.
This is ridiculous, and yet some people will do this.
This reminds me of a test for a radio certification where part of the material was explaining the concept of the decibel. The question was asking what kind of pay raise should be asked for. One of the answers was 3 dB which was , of course, the correct answer.
