Overheard two young people on my way to the airport: “If your dog dies, you gotta report it right? Like, how else would the government know?"
Dude, the government doesn't have to be involved in every single aspect of your life...

A really nice thing about lightning is you can fix liquidity problems for other people yourself. The node these Ukraine donations go to had just a single, small, channel and payments were failing. So I opened a big channel, and now donations are going through.

Payments don't seem to be working right now.
...and you supporting that breakage rather than just accepting that those notes can't be displayed leads to more breakage. You can't fix everything.
Postel's Law is widely considered to be a mistake... It results in tons of unspecified and inconsistent behavior. Better to be strict in what you accept, and if needed, update standards.
[bitcoin-dev] Full-RBF testing: at least 31% of hash power, over at least 4 pools, is mining full-RBF right now

Meanwhile on Twitter, the one thing I think everyone agrees should get you banned…. No longer does. Feel free to post CSAM, everyone 🤦♂️. https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1684248597603155976
You know, if this were actually true, given how much Dom is hated by the establishment – and the fact that in the US, any distribution of CSAM materials is extremely illegal – he'd probably already have federal charges against him.
But so far that hasn't happened. Good chance there's something else going on, eg he posted blurred images, didn't actually post an explicit part of the video, etc.
I saw that claim from people on Twitter who said they had seen the actual photos while they were still up.
This is one of them problems with this stuff: the public can't legally see the evidence of what actually happened. Not even most employees or the owner of the company.

The claim is he posted a screenshot of a video, and I've heard claims that the screenshot was blurred. Without seeing the image, we don't know what exactly happened.
If the above is true, saying that is "posting CSAM" gives readers a dishonest impression of what he did. I've personally seen mainstream news agencies distribute screenshots (usually blurred) of CSAM videos before to provide viewers context.
Isn't that just ordinals stuff?
It'd make a lot more technical sense to have a burn aggregator that did an on-chain burn with a merkle sum tree. You could also make it a tokenized protocol to make it possible to pay for it trustlessly.
😂😂😂😂
Looks like YouTube music had a hard time putting what I listen to into genres last year.
(and I have no idea how "Ukrainian Electo" got 4%; I've got, like, half a dozen Ukrainian songs in my playlists)
You'd think just pointing out that they were utterly crushed by a ~10,000 psi wall of water moving inwards at multiple times the speed of sound with the total energy of hundreds of kg of TNT would be sensational enough.
...and now Poolin might be mining full-rbf too: https://mempool.space/tx/2a2dfacc7d96706972a5b3362fc1d8253d43a03f89b0b0da525363788672810f
I think we can confirm that Poolin is mining full-rbf. I've seen a bunch more txs mined, eg most recently: https://mempool.space/tx/d830cb38f2636c6a9105fd4d532eecee2d92d609bdc93ce29ed88154a695471a
Part of that is nonsense: there's no reason to think an electric sub would have hydrocarbon vapors.
It is true that the air would dramatically increase in temperature due to compression. But the total heat energy of that wouldn't be high enough to burn the bodies completely. More likely the mechanical forces of the implosion would have shredded them.
Looks like another pool may have turned on full-rbf: https://mempool.space/tx/80f9630855e26aed27f1e6ab124da8303f8e2a904d665c4999c9db385ad14ff1
So that's Luxor, AntPool, Binance, EMCDPool, and possibly now ULTIMUSPOOL.
