You need INBOUND liquidity.
How to achieve that?
- move out some sats from the existing channel to another LN wallet
- buy an inbound channel. You can do that in Alby Hub, with any recommended peers you get in there.

Switch off "Use Primal Wallet", then connect it to your Alby Hub via NWC using the "Connect Other Wallet" button.

My alby hub periodically locks for unknown reasons and I have to log into it to unlock it. It's definitely a lot harder to debug MPP payments, yeah 😅 Please let us know if you found something of interest in the node logs.
The default backend is LDK (using ldk-node), LDK provides MPP capabilities. 👍

You don't need to setup any VPN / TOR but instead use an encrypted NWC connection using a relay as the "mailbox" between your wallet (e.g. Alby Go) and your node.
