Still trying to use famous/nostr, but scrolling the feed, half of the usernames don’t load, and most of the reply/forward numbers don’t load either, on iOS. Have to tap the post in order to load all that stuff. So I don’t even know which posts have replies or are popular to see which threads to read. And when I enter a thread it goes to the very top, not the message I tapped…. Still very hard to use.
I’ve never seen or met a man who’s done this.
Businesses don't need to have anything to do with rebalancing. They just have to use a custodial service to accept bitcoin. Read this guide by George https://georgesaoulidis.com/bitcoin-for-merchants/
Unfortunately, almost all such custodial services have user agreements that prohibit certain types of businesses or uses of the service. That’s not freedom.
You can do a lot of things with ETH that you can’t do with bitcoin, for example, decentralized trading, investing for a periodic return, or holding pegged tokens.
The people who eschew any development of cryptocurrencies outside of whet bitcoin can presently do are the worst toxic sort. Basically crypto-muslims. Rejecting anything new under the sun even if it’s brilliant and groundbreaking. That is the stupid sort.
Just thinking bitcoin is great and valuable, but being open to new ideas, is not toxic maximalism but being normal and intelligent.
It’s all about race. Races have inherent characteristics that have been bred in over millennia.
It’s a problem with lightning though. If you give them a easy lightning wallet, it’s often either custodial or really confusing (or impossible) to send out to a regular bitcoin address.
For beginners I would always suggest muun for that reason, since they can do either. The fees may be more, but they won’t run into problems.
We need better lightning wallets and better channel management, or else a better L2 altogether.
Where are people getting these pfps?
Input field too low and partly off screen on iPhones.
Come on. We all know the Ukraine deserves that money a lot more than American startups and depositors.
Well I’m familiar with refraction on hot air over the desert or roads, for example, that can cause mirages. So it makes sense to me that it could also happen upside down. Wikipedia lays it out pretty well, so based on that I’m sure you can find more concrete examples or papers.
Please put the newest posts at the top.
Here you go. It has to do with the temperature, pressure, and humidity of the air.
No. It is merely a glass fiber. It’s the difference in refractive index between the glass and air that causes the laser light to refract back into the fiber when it hits the edge.
Same thing happens with optical fibers, which is why the light refracts back into the fiber when it hits the edge. There must be a boundary between two layers of air with different refractive indices such that it refracts around the curve of the earth.
