Just a pleb on a never ending journey of education and discovery. I love to tinker and try new things. The ocean waves are my second home, this tragically means I keep losing my sats in boating accidents... 🌊🛥🤷🏻‍♂️ GNULinux/FOSS/FOSH enthusiast, BTC maxi, XMR curious, Nostr Maxi.

No, but seriously though, Birch burns too clean... you need something with a higher tar content, maybe a pine or connifer... 😂

Yooo, I just took #yakihonne for a test drive! That app is beautiful! But it kept crashing 😂 maybe when the bugs are ironed out it'll be a thing of beauty, but i'll be sticking with trusty #amethyst for now 😎 It's never let me down! Although I have let it down now and then 😂

Bring back this architecture please! Although I suppose in these times I would be a lowly serf who would rarely if ever enjoy such opulence 😅

The feature I would LOVE to see integrated is tap to pay (and for it to work in GrapheneOS, which as long as it's built in-house without Gpay then it should right?) 🥰 imagine the functionality of that! nostr:nprofile1qqsvf646uxlreajhhsv9tms9u6w7nuzeedaqty38z69cpwyhv89ufcqpzamhxue69uhhyetvv9ujucm4wfex2mn59en8j6gpzemhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuurjd9kkzmpwdejhgqg5waehxw309aex2mrp0yhxgctdw4eju6t0t25cfd, pretty pretty please! 🙏🏼😅

Indeed, I guess I was being more general/abstract. But you're absolutely correct of the nostr engagement 🤗

I had mine early by modern standards, and I don't regret a thing 😎💪🏼

The "Self Made", "Hard Worker" fallacy.

While it is certain that you'll get nowhere without putting in the work. People often forget to account for the luck of circumstances and serendipity. You can work incredibly hard and get nowhere if you don't know the right people and have no sense of timing. 🤷🏻‍♂️

This is something I have pondered many times through my life, for a while I was adamant that people could change because I had changed, there was a time In my life when I was a very different person with very different motives, I was a self centred ass for many years.

But, on deeper contemplation, the change that I made was more of a reversion to the way I was before I became that other version of me. So can people change? Certainly, but maybe only in a transitory kind of way.

Meangful, lasting change has to come from a deep internal recognition of the need to change, a place of sincere repentance. And old habits can come back too easily without daily commitment to the changes made. Humility before God certainly helped me 🙏🏼

As the light casts shadows, so the dark provides an environment in which the light can shine. Partial duality, partial unity as two sides of the same coin ✌🏼🤗☯️ the yin yan is truely a profound symbol worth meditating on
