I put off reading it because I thought it might be too analytical and possibly a bit dry, like so many other other books on money. Found it on Audible a few weeks back, decided to give it a listen and practically devoured it. Yes, this should be made as easy as running your own #bitcoin node.
Not everyone is running their own Bitcoin node yet, but maybe it can help each other. Integrate it optional and easy in all Bitcoin nodes like nostr:npub1aghreq2dpz3h3799hrawev5gf5zc2kt4ch9ykhp9utt0jd3gdu2qtlmhct did.
The other way around would be nice as well: if there will be a simple plug and play #nostr relay option (just like nostr:npub1aghreq2dpz3h3799hrawev5gf5zc2kt4ch9ykhp9utt0jd3gdu2qtlmhct, Start 9 do for Bitcoin) adding an AppStore on that Nostr relay software and make a Bitcoin node an optional plugin of your #nostr relay would be very benificial for both worlds.
Is there an OSS relay that allows me to sync events from other relays?
Probably a mix of a lot of things, imho. Content, network size, tech hurdles and yeah: client UX. I don’t think there is THE client though. Users have different preferences, different flows they are used to etc.
Yeah that was pretty much my circuit on Android (second device). Amethyst is nuts in terms of features 😅
Is any of them perfect? Of course not. They all have their unique quirks and UX style, but that’s imho what’s so great. There is choice, which is more than can be said for other platforms.

My iOS client journey so far:
