Open minded Bitcoiner and blogger with a focus on UX, privacy and security. https://eluc.ch

I have the latest version of Amethyst from Github, Fdroid version, updated everyday using Obtainium (almost, it's hard to follow sometimes). But is it really relevant? People could zap me from any app, still it's not counted.

Yes I figure out also when I pay with my own boltcard it takes 5sec or more to confirm sometimes. Not sure why it's so slow. My internet is fast, 300/50 MBits/s and ping is low too when I test.

Super strange. Maybe it was just bad timing? My Umbrel node can be unresponvise sometimes maybe? Most of the time it works fine.

I zap you back, got it. My LN URL is on a BTCPay server on Umbrel, redirect with a ReverseProxy running on a NAS that redirect lnpay.in 443 to my Umbrel_local_IP:port_of_BTCPayServer (without SSL).

My relay? It's a local one, I don't see zap anywhere on it.

Need help from hardcore Nostrers, why when I zap someone, the zapped amount is added next to the bolt on the post but if I get a zap or zap myown post the counter is never incremented even if I receive the sats in my wallet.

yes

How is a #zapathon working? I zap the last one?

I just learned that I'm a friend of nostr:npub14qt30q0an6gwmcl2gnwu5hf6h7pgl68wm6c082asm5l9vdtzu87q0z9htj. Nice to meet you friend.

My Raspberry Pi is also a real computer.

Anyone has a referral code for the #ZeeBeDee #ZBD social platform based on Nostr?

I got a mailing list saying I'm invited but then you can only add your email to a waiting list. Not really my definition of an invitation but I still want to give it a try.

BTC were stole as well if I understood well. Here is more a poor software security involved.

Better stick with simple, BTC only, open source hardware wallet that support propely multisign.

I use a mix of Firefox with very specific settings and several addons uBlock first, Tor Browser with uBlock, LibreWolf almost default and if something really need Chromium based I use Brave with shitcoin/web3 stuff disabled.

But there is not one that I would 100% trust and like in all use cases without at lease small changes or uBlock.

So you eat the standard Swiss chocolate that we all eat in Switzerland, right?

Which brand is it? To see if you have good taste in chocolate.

Elon has been so generous to me by unlocking my #Twitter account that has been locked by mistake for a month...

Flagged for spam after not posting for weeks before I got suspended, what a joke.

After browsing again Twitter for 5min, I feel bored and annoyed by all the ads (thanks for killing all gorgrous open source app for Twitter Elon).

Back to Nostr, I feel more like home here now.

Good move that he married another girl.

I was thinking the same, just found a 150bucks Optiplex Mini that came with 16GB RAM and 1TB Samsung Pro SSD. I'm using it for experimenting NAS solutions but in the end I could make a node out of it.

What I didn't understood with this movie ending is that what they did will not solve the problem. Sure the robots will use all ressources available to try to cure as many humans as possible but all this technology only exist in the first place because people on earth are exploited to produce it and because the distribution of ressources is only limited to the elite.

Once you want to give everything to everyone you will figure out the ressources are not unlimited and it's game over, back to the beggining.

The only solution is to accept that ressources are not unlimited and we cannot all get everything we want. Until humanity accept that no one can have more than another, we will not reach utopia.

It means any data you give out to any website/service in US (and many other country) could possibly be in the end of the governement without explicit reason to be given.

Think about it when doing... anything online.
