Relai is KYC only now so you are not losing much, better use Kraken directly and get lower fee and limit orders. Move on to MrPelerin, RobotSats or Peach for buying non-KYC and Phoenix for self custody Lightning.

What happened to girls in 2015?

No the worst that could happen. The worst could be that you use a fake Electrum or a corrupted keyboard or worst that steal your coins, but in most cases everything is fine.

Best is to use a Tails OS stick (installed properly with signature checking and all), boot it on a trusted computer, run Electrum (included), enter seed, send all to you hardware wallet.

I would assume that Google, Apple and Microsoft are more or less same low level of privacy, maybe Apple is top of the 3 but still way to low. All of them will give anything they got if requested by authorities, Apple just did use a case where they refuse to hack into an iPhone to make it a good PR "we are pro privacy" advertisement but any data and metadata they store unencrypted will be handed over without a question.

Proton had to habd over data as well in a couple of cases but at least they try to fight a little and they had only a few data to hand over in the end.

It's just a matter of threat model, if your life depend on the security and privacy of your emails, you should not use Proto or many other email providers, in fact you should not communicate over email at all.

Do you know cheaper eSIM that works in all (most) countried, charge per kb and credit never expire?

Even paid in fiat and with KYC, I never found better, either you must pay for a package that you never fully use and stay valid a few days (1, 15 or 30 days usually) or your credit/eSIM expired after 6 or 12 months without using it.

With big buttons that you turn and push, no tactile shit.

The second best way to spend your Bitcoin is to get a nostr:npub1mea2vwcu06qf7e4x00wd902vj54qnn2jacq76ldntrgfhtvhlpqqrvqane account. I was skeptical at first, even complained about their free product making it a bit annoying to use. After I got a paid account, I became a Proton Mail maxi. It's such a good service and its really becoming an alternative to the Google Suite.

I don't dare to check how much bitcoins I spend with them along the years 😱💸₿

Calendar, contacts, drive, password manager, Email alias (SimpleLogin), VPN.

Drive is maybe the less close to GDrive, with no online office apps, but for storage it's good, stillexpensive for anything large like media, I would use only for documents.

Personally I use almost excusively for emails, I have a Nextcloud for calendar/contacts sync and for drive and office documents.

Same for me, no way I'm using service from an American company for my emails.

I'm Swiss, so I'm fine with Protonmail, they are not of perfect integrity but still way above 99% of the main players in the email market.

Wait for #Bitcoin to step in.

As a non-dev who can figure out things in code (sometimes) I tried once to do a pull request and it was messy, furtunately the dev took over, clean it and push it in the end, but I would definitely not asky anybody to do it.

I think this extreme case is more of an exeption but there is for sure a general lack of financial education from school and parents.

Even for me, getting out of one of the top tech university which was focused on technics only sometimes far from reality of the field and industries and having a father with a high position in finance that was scared to talk about money because I would have figured out how much he made and it was very taboo in the family...

I was pretty much on my own and made my own mistakes to learn but at last I didn't do the mistake to trust someone else with my money, especially not the banks.

Same as: I bought a coffee for 8 bucks in 2024, I could have bought bitcoins for 8 bucks that would be me a house now in 2050.
