I don't think you get my point. When fiat will be zero and everything will be priced in sats, maybe your rent will be 1000 sats per month, but every day it will be harder and harder to earn these 1000 sats while your landlord will wait and wait to reduce the rent, especially in area with more demand than offers.

Just one thing that might not work long term. If everything is priced in BTC (sats) eventually, what will incentivise companies to reduce their prices as fast as Bitcoin gain value? Like now they want to increase price to not loose money or to make more money, then they will try to keep as long as possible the price in sats before reducing it, for very competitive markets where it's easy to move to competition, that will works but for market with low competition and high friction to change, like real estate rental, people might be trapped paying the same amount of sats for years while it's getting hardet and harder to earn them.

Any tough about that?

He is welcomed in Switzerland, even with a .eth 👀. No capital gain tax, still some income tax, not good but usually lower than any major country and low wealth tax, also not great, hopefully not that high, but in a sense it force to invest your money, so it's no so bad for Bitcoiners).

I call this bullshit. Unless you give me a list of address of the people with gold burried in their garden I will not believe it.

Super sad to see Kingda Ka being removed. Another milestones I will never achieve in my passion for #rollercoaster

Crazy to think that Red Force in Port Aventura is now the fastest operating coaster in the world. It's even the highest non-shuttle rollercoaster.

I should probably, snd finally, plan a visit to Cedar Point in the next 2 years to at least experience this park at the top of my list.

Levis turned to bad quality, I destroyed 3 pairs in a couple of years. I swirched to Jack&Jones ones which are good quality for the price, they last me 2-3 years so far and still in good shape.

Still not as good as jeans from 20-30 years ago I guess.

Nice video about AirFryer, conclusion is to buy the most basic model as the technology of it is super basic in the end to have the easiest to use and more durable one, but the product is not bad in itself if you have the space for it. If on top it's collecting data on you, it's even more reason to buy a basic one.

Some people think they can buy fiat to buy back bitcoin cheaper later on. Most are bad at this game but continue to do it, they feel more in control.

Still if you plan a purchase in fiat in the next 6-18 months and especially in bullmarket, it might be wise to secure at least some of the amount to not be forced to sell at a bottom, maybe DCA out is a good way to manage that.

Already 1100 Moscow Time!

Ok, sorry if I misunderstood. I was in Plan₿ conference and a panel including Adam Back start praising MicroStrategy as a better investment than BTC, I had to get out before I 🤮.

For me the only positive from Saylor is that he is a good source for meme creator, but I'm still thinking that he is a risk for the whole Bitcoin ecosystem.

MicroStrategy is not great, it's dangerous. The first payout will arrive next year, if everything is fine, people will choose the stock, stock will be dilluted, profit will be reduce, some will sell to get out at profit, price will take a hit, more will sell, if anywhere around this Bitcoin take a hit, like -50 or -70% which is perfectly possible after next top that could end up quite high next year, you will get a kind of bank run out of MSTR which could collapse the whole strategy.

Everything could be fine as well and people would outperform Bitcoin in the short or mid term but this thing cannot go up forever Laura.

Same boat and I didn't want to spend 70$ equivalent for the #Yubikey 5 USB-C (I have the feeling that they increase a lot in price since I got my first one), so I tried the token2.swiss option (I'm in Switzerland, wanted to support local company and it's made in Switzerland, I guess last assembly and programming but still).

Price is much better, like 20-25$, the USB-C model is more compact than the Yubikey USB-A but wider than the Yubikey 5 USB-C.

It had NFC but I don't really need it if I can plug it in the phone directly.

The Rev2 model can host 300 passkey, it's crazy huge, especilly that most service still use the certificate version were data is not stored on the key (so far only GitHub is listed on the key as a passkey).

For passkey and FIDO2 2FA it's very good.

For the rest, Yubikey is much better. First Linux support for OTP is really combersome, you need to manually install and run a Python app which doesn't work with shenanigans (I mean, installing dependencies and plugins), so far it's still not working on my Ubuntu but tech support is very responsive, hopefully they will help me to sove it when I got time.

Android app is working fine for OTP.

Using the key for 2FA on Linux (unlock, sudo, ...) is not working yet but I'm still trying.

PGP and ssh login with ed25519-sk I didn't try yet.

I also couldn't add my HMAC for Keypass XC on it, not sure it's possible.

I would say, if you strictly use it for passkey/FIDO2 2FA, it's a good product at a competitive price, it you want to have all your OTP in it and you are ok to read it on your phone, fine. (Or on Windows/iOS of course, didn't test but it should be better supported).

If you want the more advanced stuff, get a Yubikey, the time I lost so far is not worth the cost saving for me.

Picture for comparison.

If only a fraction of all bitcoin holder would pay for something in bitcoin at least once per month, this would push Bitcoin adoption years ahead.

But no, most of them will continue to use their credit c ard, not asking if they can pay in bitcoin at small merchant and not even thinking about paying in bitcoin even when they know that it's accepted.

Once this will change, no-bitcoiners will follow naturally.

Is it a new video meme based on the "you won't have to" picture meme or did I miss the video for that long and the picture was taken from tjh video?

If I had to on board a friend to a custodial wallet, I would set him up on my own custodial, to avoid that, and also make sure it's just to get started, get familiar with Bitcoin then help them move to Phoenix, Breez or Zeus.

Now a panel try to sell us on the idea that we (or a whale with too much bitcoins as they said) should better sell their bitcoins to buy #MSTR .

I call this bullshit. I'm moving out to see the speach of nostr:nprofile1qqsfrjd9ux5hgsg5cmlz6cdwfh5zv2024g8m2t6g9zqf83l8uqm0svspp4mhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mqpr3mhxue69uhkummnw3ezucnfw33k76twv4ezuum0vd5kzmqpzfmhxue69uhkummnw3ezu7nzvshxweczwanqt instead.

9am check the markets.

10am go to bed.

They are right. Except the "we" is not all humans, it's just all people abusing there power in finance and governments. Everyone else will be fine and will probably live a better life.

China has the second larger population, 4 times mlre that Us, at third place. We ask China to produce 99% of the shit we consume in the whole world and to produce the solution to solve our own CO2 production (number one solar panel production and it's just one example), we ask them to so it at a cheaper price that any other country is able to do it. In results they are not even in the top 50 in GPD per captia. And on top of that they should not pollute more than all richest countries in the world?

I'm not saying that China is doing everything right, far away for it, but regarding pollution, only a few can blame them for being better than China while achieving more.

This make me crazy as well, in Bitcoin meetup people paying in Bitcoin are still very low and we have no capital gain tax, so nothing to report if you spend and buy back.

Same speach, always, "why spend my BTC if it should worth more tomorrow?" Why I answer: "If you have the cash to pay, you have the cash to buy more Bitcoin, if you really believe it will be worth more tomorrow, buy at least as much as you spend, buy 1.2, 1.5, 2 times more of possible, when price is going down 2-3% or more, buy in advance for your next spend. Using your Bitcoin will only make it even more valuable in the long term."

On the other end, merchants who are serious about it should offer some discount, cards cost a lot, like 4-6% minimum, cash cost as well, you must maintain change, spend to keep the cash safe between 2 working days, insure the risk of thief... A merchant accepting Bitcoin without 5 to 10% discount is not serious about pushing Bitcoin usage.

That's why in Switzerland we removes the 1 cent coin some years ago, because it costs 12 cents to make it. Now when you pay in shops either the unit price or the total price of your cart must be round down to 5 cents multiple.
