Fiat already scales infinitely with custodians. That's not how you win
Lightning also does not scale for global payments, yet people defend it. This argument makes zero sense.
When talking about payments (not SoV), if something works well today, why do you care it does not scale infinitely?
Let's be clear here: building makes you productive, knowledgeable and respected. But it can also make you overly attatched to your own creation and the tech/philosophy behind it. That emotional leash can clout the judgment of the brightest and most productive, prevent you from taking criticism, consider alternatives, etc.

Since views are directly monetizable by ads, that incentivizes this type of gargabe.
On a protocol/platform where there's not such a clear payout-per-view incentive, the worst that can happening is zap begging or stupid shit like zapathons.
