Your father's words seem to be all (or perhaps 90%) about quantity, at the expense of quality. It's a fiat mentality that has been drilled in pretty much all of us in these modern times. It sucks the life and substance out of everything (even toasters 👇), and makes life all about tasks, not tastes.

Hyperbitcoinization cannot be stopped, but neither can it be rushed. If we remain humble and faithful (I don't mean the fiat faith of blind belief, but the true faith of hodling to what our reason once accepted, despite our changing moods), then everything will proceed exactly when and how it should.
Anyone who tells you that faith is just belief, and falls back on the excuse that we "just need to believe" when confronted with unconformable spiritual truths, is a fiat religionist who is lying to themselves and probably to you, too.
Faith is the choice to have low time preference, even when a situation calls for high time preference. You can only do this if you are truly relying upon something that's greater than all problems, and if it's at the top of your value hierarchy.
There are answers to every question about God, but the only way to fully understand them is to rely on Him so completely that no situation will ever succeed in making you raise your time preference. This is a gradual process that can't come all at once, but as you learn to rely on God more and more, and work to keep your time preference low no matter what, then knowledge, understanding, and most importantly peace will come. 😌
It has helped me connect with more Bitcoiners in my area who hadn't been to our local meetup before, or even heard that there was one! Also, as a meetup organizer, I like that I can create and announce meetup events right there in the app.
