The way I see it, it will not further adoption anymore than the current state we're in.
People will still have to deal with volatility, all you're doing is providing an off ramp. But that bitcoin gets immediately converted to fiat, at the same time getting centralized to these providers.
No one is going to convert fiat to bitcoin just to use it at a fiat terminal.
I live outside of the US and I don't see any Square terminals. Amazingly enough, I can use bitcoin for many of my needs peer to peer.

Your problem is that you're still thinking in dollar terms. Volatility is natural.
So now I ask you as a bitcoiner, please don't buy bitcoin if you want stability. Don't buy bitcoin because someone said it's dollar value will go up.
Learn about it, play with it, experience it at the peer to peer level. Not depending on big companies to make it go mainstream. Then decide what value it gives you.
If you get none from it, then it's not for you.

having worked at digital design agencies for most of my career i've always found it challenging to break out of the "logo-fiddling" stage of projects and just get to making something that works and delivers results
the emphasis on shipping is an underappreciated virtue of the developer community, and as a non-dev i'm trying to become better about it
i know too many people who "start companies" but get their logo, llc, website, bank account, and business cards set up before finding a single user or paying customer
marketing is valuable and has its place, but also maybe just build the product and keep improving it first

v0.1.0 'Hello brave new world'
A nostr based application to create and manage link lists, show notes, and other stuff
Nostree is a linktree style client a la nostr that allows you to create, and manage lists of links that you can share with anyone. You can create as many lists as you like and they will be displayed in your profile (you can also edit or even delete the lists)
Nostree also shows your latest notes and articles, the idea is that it becomes a good presentation card for you on nostr.
