Some good #homeschool resources for learning about bitcoin:
Lots of opportunities for friends while homeschooling, especially for kids that value and thrive with the social interactions. My kids make friends at their sports, arts classes, and especially at programs meant for homeschool kids, where they'll meet kids from families more likely to have similar values to yours. And for the kids that aren't so into being social (yet), they don't have the pressure to do so until they're ready.
The social exposure requires a little parental time and attention, but I encourage you to not view it as a necessary trade off with the choice to homeschool.
I'll throw my hat in and offer a presentation on cannabis and/or microdosing for health promotion and disease prevention. Thanks for the recommendation, going to check it out. What do you recommend as an alternative to Thunderbird for Linux? I like the function, though not perfect, but would prefer to not to support the woke.
I love this song, in many ways better than the original. I hope it is the beginning of a new genre of Bitcoin-themed metal covers.

welcome! Great to have you here and thank you for your work.
I love the tallow from bone broth. It tastes better than rendered suet, probably because it doesn't go above water's boiling temp. Thanks!
Would love a tutorial on back rolling

Do you love your #coffee machine? I want to buy my wife one for hey birthday, she loves coffee and has gone through a couple crappy ones. Looking for recommendations, thanks! #asknostr
I nearly broke off some of the lower branches and laid them down like you suggested and was very pleased to find that even later that day they had already started growing upwards. I had one branch casualty. Thanks!

I saw a 91yo woman last week for her first follow up 3 weeks after her initial #cannabis consult for neck and shoulder pain. Her initial goal was to be able to get back to her Silver Sneakers exercise program, which she has been unable to do because of pain, despite taking max-dose Tylenol 4x daily.
I usually start people in this situation on cannabis drops, but she has essential tremor and her hands are too unsteady to use the dropper. So I tried our new product, Healer Respite, a hemp-derived gummy. Stage 1 has THC 2mg + CBD 8mg morning and mid-day, and THC 2.5mg + CBG 5mg at night. We designed them with people who have dementia (and their caregivers) in mind, but they're broadly applicable. The gummies are in blister packs and easy to dispense and count, and can be shipped directly to almost every state in the US. healercbd.com/respite
She reported 50% decrease in pain, had no side effects, and had completely stopped Tylenol. She was very pleased!
Since she hadn't reached her goal of reducing pain enough to get back to exercise, and no adverse effects, I decided to increase her to stage 2, which includes THC 5mg + CBD 5mg in the day and THC 5mg + CBG 10mg at night. And I gave her an osteopathic treatment, started to restore respiratory motion in some of the stiff tissues in her neck and low back, and recommended she rub our topical CBD/CBDA into her neck a couple times daily. We'll see how she does at her follow up next month. I'm thankful to be a part of Healer.com and the excellent products that make it easy for my patients to get great results with cannabis.
I saw a 30-year-old woman today for her first follow-up visit 6 weeks after starting at-home #ketamine for treating depression. Her initial goals were to stop crying at work (near daily), to be able to be more social, and to have a feeling of belonging. She's been taking sertraline for 5 years, and more recently added lamotrigine, with minimal benefit. A friend encouraged her to have a visit with me.
Today she reported that she hasn't cried at work once since her first dose of ketamine, she's become more assertive with a bully at work, is feeling more comfortable "being who I am," is using less #cannabis daily because she feels fulfilled without it, and has met and started dating a new partner. She's taking 160mg lozenge every 3-4 days with mild psychoactive effects that last ~1 hr and zero negative side effects.
Of course, not everyone experiences such a rapid and profound response, but many do. Ketamine is a truly incredible tool - I'm thankful I can offer it to my patients.
looks interesting, how do you do it?
Today I saw an 82yo woman for her initial visit hoping to get relief from back pain that makes it hard for her to walk and unable to enjoy all the great activities in the senior community where she lives. Very intelligent and had done a lot of research. She's taking morphine and Tylenol with little relief. She was adamant about wanting to avoid THC! It's amazing how much fear remains.
So I'm starting her out on CBDA... good chance it'll help (like the Advil used to before it gave her an ulcer) but I suspect she'll eventually come around to the THC. When appropriately dosed it can be such a godsend for our elders. Too bad so many of them have been brainwashed to fear it more than morphine!
I decided to start posting an interesting case at the end of my days in the clinic. Today I had ~30yo trans-male who had widespread pain and a diagnosis of fibromyalgia, return for his first follow-up visit six weeks after his initial. I had started him on a 1:1 formula of THC:THCA, called Healer Pain, before bed. He worked up to 2mg of each and had a 90% improvement in his pain symptoms overall with no cannabis use required during the day.
This is a profound response in a short time with a low dose. He continues to experience some symptoms of bipolar disorder and ulcerative colitis, so I suggested he add 0.5mg of each THC and THCA 1-2x during the day. I've found that most people do very well with 25% of their optimal bedtime dose of THC during the day with no impairment.
Can anyone recommend a good #homeschool science resource (book, curriculum, online program) for teaching science to my 8 and 9 year olds? #asknostr
