you could look at some of your points and think that he is gaming the system and the people inside the system. By not opening appearing to threaten the USD .. he can bring people onside without getting them defensive. Is he not the "big money" trojan horse ?

Nostr is a neutral protocol. Bitcoin (like it or not) comes with other inputs which you might like or not. two common issues I see (from other people) are:
1. fixed supply (ethically some people believe a adjustable supply is good for the world)
2. no privacy by default
With nostr, the protocol isn't opinionated, you can build whatever you want on it. With bitcoin, the protocol is VERY opinionated.
1. From today, be super cautious about what you release online
2. take 1 meaningful step every day/week/month to reduce exposure. Examples might be to a) move to a privacy focussed browser b) privacy focussed search engine c) change email providers to proton/tuta d) google yourself ... remove accounts on all unused platforms that you find bit by bit.
