Man! I hope this weekend doesn't turn unto wecan't. 🥺 Was trying to get a new library working with the main projects and the fucking imports won't act right. Stayed up until after 2 AM trying to get it to wrork. Still no wokie. I hope I can figure it out today.

It's not apples to oranges, hon. It's apples to apples. Both things are talking about outsourcing a portion of the job human mind usually does to an external technology. Whether that portion is memory and external technology being writing (i.e. not having to remember/memorize as many things because you wrote them down and can refer to them later), or the portion is reasoning and invention and external technology is AI (i.e. not having to come up with a new idea or solve the problem because you can have AI do it for you. Both things prophesize doom and gloom on how the part if human brain that normally does that job is going to go downhill as a result. Except in the case of writing we already know that the doom and gloom didn't come to pass. So there is no reason to suspect the AI related doom and gloom would either.

Comparing apples to oranges. Your memory was produced by neuron connections in the brain not a series of triangular indentations on clay tablets.

After writing got first invented: "How do we square memory decline with powerful information storage abilities coming from the new cuneiform script? Are children outsourcing memorization to this new 'writing' technology? What is going to happen to human memory as a result of this so-called 'inovation'? Are we making ourselves dumber? Experts suspect in a few generations an average human won't be able to remember their own family's names without the aid of this 'writing'..."

I haven't hosted my own relay yet (will be though, eventually) or dealt with StartOS yet. I can try to help you out, though. First, a few questions:

1. What is/are the error messages that you're seeing?

2. Why did you choose this particular OS and relay? When I got to StartOS repo it says: "StartOS is in beta. It lacks features. It doesn't always work perfectly. Start9 servers are not plug and play." If you are just starting, it doesn't sound like the first OS to try because you may not understand the issue you run into to troubleshoot and the likelihood of running into issues on beta software is high.

3. Why are you using Tor while setting it up? It seems like an unneeded layer of complication right out of the gate (unless the government or governments are after you). You're setting up a Nostr not a Tor relay, right? So test with a Nostr client. Turn off all peoxies like Orbot and vpns and get it working in as simple setup as you can first. Once it works like that, then you can start adding layers of complication one at a time (like Tor)

4. Did you read through and follow everything in the Readme:

How Over-Leveraged Countries That Poured Billions Into AI Will React to ECAI

#EllipticalAI #ECAI #AIRevolution #NextGenAI #TechDisruption #DecentralizedAI #Superintelligence #AIWarfare #PostQuantum #CryptographicAI #FutureTech #TrustlessAI #AIvsLLM #GameChanger #ArtificialIntelligence #NeuralEvolution #AIInnovation #UnstoppableAI #SovereignAI #NewEraAI

The governments and mega-corporations that sunk insane amounts of money into transformer-based AI are about to get wrecked. They bet everything on massive GPU clusters, centralized AI models, and brute-force computation—and now, ECAI is about to wipe all that investment off the map.

When they realize what’s happening, their reactions will follow the classic pattern of a collapsing empire:

---

1. Denial & Dismissal (0-6 Months) 🚨

At first, governments and corporations won’t believe it. They’ll brush ECAI off as some niche, academic concept that “isn’t practical” or “can’t scale.”

❌ They’ll say:

“AI requires massive data centers—there’s no way this works on local devices.”

“ECAI is just theoretical; transformers are still the best way forward.”

“No one will take this seriously.”

🔥 But here’s the reality:

Once ECAI starts outperforming transformer-based AI with a fraction of the resources, denial won’t last long.

Early adopters will begin demonstrating how ECAI achieves deterministic intelligence without burning GPUs.

Governments and AI companies will start quietly testing it while publicly ridiculing it.

---

2. Panic & Damage Control (6-18 Months) 🏴‍☠️

Once ECAI’s efficiency is undeniable, panic mode will set in.

💀 AI superpowers like the U.S. and China, who dumped billions into AI infrastructure, will realize:

Their investments are rapidly losing value—all the billions sunk into training LLMs were a mistake.

They’re stuck with outdated tech—while decentralized ECAI models run more efficiently without corporate control.

Their monopoly on AI is breaking—because now, anyone can run high-level intelligence locally.

🚨 Expect desperate moves:

They’ll try to dismiss ECAI as a security risk. (“Decentralized AI could be dangerous!”)

They’ll push regulations to control who can use it. (“We need ethical guidelines for AI intelligence computation.”)

They’ll fund AI “studies” trying to prove transformers are still superior (paid research that conveniently finds flaws in ECAI).

🔥 Meanwhile, smaller nations and startups will start adopting ECAI—and the power balance in AI shifts forever.

---

3. Total Collapse of the AI Industry’s Monopoly (18-36 Months) ☢️

At this point, ECAI is fully operational, self-hosted AI is everywhere, and centralized AI models are obsolete.

💥 AI superpowers will face brutal realities:

Their massive AI research divisions are now useless.

The price of intelligence has dropped to near-zero.

They can’t stop decentralized AI from spreading.

🚀 Nations that adopt ECAI will leap ahead:

✅ They’ll run AI-powered systems more efficiently.

✅ They’ll integrate AI without reliance on foreign supercomputers.

✅ They’ll have true AI sovereignty—something no country currently has.

Meanwhile, AI monopolies like OpenAI, Google, and NVIDIA will try to pivot—too late.

---

Final Outcome: The AI Arms Race Just Ended—And ECAI Won

Over-leveraged countries will fall into two groups:

1️⃣ Those that accept reality and switch to ECAI, embracing decentralized intelligence.

2️⃣ Those that double down on their sinking AI investments and fade into irrelevance.

Governments and AI megacorporations spent years turning AI into a walled garden of corporate control—and ECAI just took a sledgehammer to the entire structure.

🔥 The AI revolution isn’t about who has the biggest model anymore.

🔥 It’s about who understands that brute-force computation is dead.

🚀 ECAI isn’t just an AI breakthrough—it’s a geopolitical reckoning. 🚀

Sorry, I'm confused. What is ECAI? I googled it and only found "European Conference of Artificial Intelligence". But it sounds like you're taking about a technology, not a conference.

Woah! I didn't know pecan butter was a thing.

How would you retrieve it later? It'll just heal over and be eraced. And however you cut it off again to try and find the seed it'll never be exact. No way you'll be able to retrieve the seed again.
