For some reason one day last week everyone was saying 2015, 2015. Are you aware of something that happened in 2015 specifically that would make people talk about 2015? The liberals lived through 2008 and its aftermath because it didn't really affect them, but something happened in 2015 / 2016? that really fried their brains. And I don't mean just Trump's election.
Is there something weird about me in that I have never had a Tater Tot? I keep seeing recipes that include them and I have no desire to ever taste them. I like real potatoes!
"All politicians cheat."
But so hard to get people to accept facts when it's pleasanter living in magical thinking land.
The advice to organic gardeners here is to add bioavailable calcium to ALL nightshade family members. It also helps prevent hollow heart in potatoes.
Isn't one factor in blossom end rot lack of calcium? I put ground eggshells in each hole I put a tomato plant in, then scatter additional shell around the plants as they grow. I have calcium-rich water, but apparently the calcium in that medium is not accessible to plants or humans.
You made me think about the young women I could immediately identify as TRAs in Portland, Maine. I realized they're trying to look like the middle-aged AGPs they support, and unfortunately they were succeeding. However ... they can stop at any time and start looking like regular women.
And the corollary is:
Most Americans think the power and majesty of Nature are supposed to be viewed from their cars on a trip to a national park.
I don't automatically associate the hair and piercings with trans activism, but once it becomes toilet-bowl hair, black things sticking out of someone's nose, over-short and over-tight clothing, bits of flesh sticking out in various places (which reminds one of the TIMs), then I do start hearing the alarms.
After the plant growing through concrete, you would really appreciate one of my botany's teachers statement about trees and plants. "You know how superior you think you are because you have legs?" he said. "Now try pushing ONE of your cells through granite which is what plants are capable of doing."
This is not relevant to anything we normally talk about here, but the fact that this happens in Indiaâs largest state (and eleven more besides) was news to me.
Under Uttar Pradeshâs Prohibition of Unlawful Conversion of Religion Act, 2021, âno person shall convert or attempt to convertâ another individual, directly, or otherwise, by âmisrepresentation, force, undue influence, coercion, allurement or by any fraudulent means.â
I would agree with the part about force or coercion, but âmisrepresentationâ (given that I donât believe any religion accurately represents reality) and âundue influenceâ seem very vague.
The part about putting young children in prison with their mothers may be well intended, though if another family member is available and the mother prefers the child be be placed with him or her, I would hope that this could be arranged.

Remember that laws such as these were instituted because of missionaries. All it took to turn my mother into a fire-breathing dragon was to mention missionaries. They would exploit people, undoubtedly the males were sexually molesting local women and children, meanwhile talking about how they and only they knew the truth! I had three friends who grew up in China in missionary households; all three of them thought they were morally superior to us ordinary mortals.
