Who wants to take away their quiet way of life?
Try to get to a screening if you can! nostr:npub1q2sz9496kfdr2t2tpqgy6ecvrjgxcuhwfzcr898w7a5gw4ryt2ksg07zym is still working on wider distribution, and that’s going to take a ton of work.
Glad to hear it will be worth the wait. I reached out to them to see if I could work with the local theater to have a showing here, but they never responded. Didn't even get a "no".
See AliExpress link. For US you would want the 915 mhz version.

Thanks. Order has been placed. 🤙
Organized Mesh Networks:
I know this isn’t a complete list of organized mesh groups. If you know of others post them as a reply here, also contact Austin Mesh to let them know too.

If you don’t have one in your area yet, consider starting one.

I've been considering starting one for a while now. These are really helpful tips for getting started.
Do you have a suggestion for a CHEAP, battery powered node that one would take with their mobile device and pair with via bluetooth in order to chat? Doesn't have to be pretty, or easy to use, or even open source (though that last one is highly desirable).
Went to build another USB to PS/2, but oops, forgot to order 1x20 headers (socket).
Went to build a Signet, but oops, forgot to order USB connectors.
So I spent $26 to get $18 worth of components. Shipping is brutal on these small orders, but that's the cost of making #prototype #electronics #hardware.

Today I decided to re-sow some cilantro (hydroponic) and rosemary (dirt). I also planted some chives (dirt). Ask me how it's #growing in 6 weeks. 😃

#Venus is the nearest planet to us. It's about the same mass, radius, density as #Earth.
It has a surface temperature about 470°C (900°F), largely due to high levels of CO² acting as a planetary scale greenhouse.
What if... Earth was our backup planet, and we initially started on Venus? Maybe we sent enough people to Earth before wiping out Venus.
Now, here we are, thinking of #Mars as being a backup planet...

I concede that he dodged the question of whether it was right/lawful, but he did very clearly instruct people pay the tax though.
Funnily enough, if the coins don't have the tax man's name on them (Ceasar, in this case), he made no statement on whether people should pay the tax or not.
So an interesting parallel could be drawn there if paying via bartering.
One of these days I'm going to get off the sidelines and try using bisq instead of just thinking/reading about it.
The part surrounded by "BEGIN PGP PUBLIC KEY BLOCK" is the key. That should always work.
If you are configured to use keyservers, and the person uploaded their key to those servers, you can find it with the fingerprint. E.g. A13806B1FA2A676B
Taxation is Slavery gear is now available on my website.
For now I only accept bitcoin for payment. I may offer fiat options, I'm not sure...
Look out for more gear to be released soon including evangelism apparel and more. Link in comments.

If you find any issues with it, please let me know. It's not something I use personally so it's admittedly less well tested.
I thought the headaches were in the past now that Element R is out. And for to most part, they are, but every once in a while something like this bites me.
It sounds like they have a fix for this, but they're improving the UX before rolling it out.
This is the first functional prototype of a custom #RaspberryPi Pico hat that will convert any USB keyboard and/or mouse to PS/2.

The reason I want one is so I can use modern keyboards with #QubesOS and not have to expose dom0 to any USB devices, ever! This is a #security feature shich I've wrote about previously and #Qubes has documented well.
As the picture implies, the PBC design was missing a trace, which I've patched with that red wire. I also had to cut the PS/2 cable apart and make it into a "crossover" cable to compensate for my having the pins reversed on the Mini-DIN-6 connector (I had it wired like a cable instead of a jack).
I've updated the PCB design to fix all these things (and some more minor issues) in case anyone else is interested in buying or building one of these little gems.
I am an #infosec #electronics #maker, hear me roar.
Submitted an updated version of the #Signet add-on for Firefox. I don't use the add-on myself, but a user reported that it didn't work on all sites that had a login on one page and a password on the next, so I fixed that.
I even got it to handle when there was a username field and then that field went away and was replaced with a password prompt without reloading the page.
I'm late to my own party, and why? Because I was learning about dehydrated devices and how #Matrix messages can't be decrypted if all of your devices were signed out at the time the message was sent. #e2ee
I recently convinced some normal people to use Matrix and so now I need to support them and make sure I figure out how to work around weird issues like this. Prior to this, I was only inviting geeks onto Matrix (which is nearly everyone I know, but a biased set of people nonetheless).
But fear not, I got that all sorted out now and #Signet #Saturday can begin. 🎊
I don't know who needs to hear this, but the #German spelling of kühl is was cooler than the #English spelling.
