Everytime I look at mempool, I expect to see the expected difficulty adjustment to bump down for a change. But it's been green for awhile and with big jumps everytime. Really makes me think a nation state is secretly getting in on the fun.

This. Bitcoin is a savings account in the best currency ever created. That's how I view it.
I do in my 401k just to get some quasi-exposure to bitcoin in there. Block and Microstrategy are practically bitcoin ETFs.
The fact that some, perhaps a lot, of people don't fully grasp this concept makes me sad for the future.
