Well, I don't believe in myself because I suffer from undiagnosed mental illness(es), I am nuerodivergent, and mixed raced, I've been terminally online since childhood, and have no real grasp, or sense of an objective reality, I disassociate all the time, and feel that things aren't real, or are pointless, meaningless/empty, I have difficulty in forming healthy relationships with people, especially of the opposite gender, I'm almost 28 years old, and my body randomly hurts sometimes, and my current job is physically demanding, I have a hard time establishing healthy sleeping patterns, which makes me arrive at work late, which puts my employment at risk, I am low-income, and am financially struggling, I suffer from imposter syndrome, I'm a chudcel that copes, and uses the internet as tool of escapism from my mediocre life, I acknowledge my problems but I feel powerless in a never ending cycle to actually solve them.

KYC is the illicit activity. It exists distinct from the distributed ledger.
All KYC purchases and sales are recorded forever and shared with the government.
If you have performed a KYC purchase without a KYC sale, you will be assumed to hold that asset.
All of the burden to prove otherwise will be put on you, if they so will it.
Best to not have the KYC purchase record in the first place. That is improved privacy from the get go.

I believe they already held an enquiry many years ago. The main issue is that they didn't follow up and apply the recommendations from that enquiry under the previous Torrie government and also now under the recently elected Labour government.

I got into a heated discussion with the unfortunate minimum wage worker at the till. They said shit like "legal requirements" "regulations". I was like which ones? I was being a real ass.
In the end the worker didn't know and the reasons were probably because they made a corporate deal with law enforcement to collect that data and sell it to them.
So many corporations make money selling such data to law enforcement, so that they can get around the requirements to have a warrant to obtain what should otherwise be private information.
Agreed. So you would just have a spending stack. To use an old banking analogy; BTC as your interest earning time deposit account and XMR as your 0% interest current account.
It is also super hard to know if you are being underpaid or not, a lot of US workers get underpaid too.
It can also manifest in the H1B workers not getting pay raises or extra discretionary pay. When it comes time to raise salaries companies will almost do it on the basis of whether or not that person will leave to a competitor. The H1B employees have a much harder time leaving to a competitor.
Big companies will even collude to stop their employees leaving between each other, so that they can keep all of their wages now and avoid competition on salaries.
