Didn't the SVB UK arm just say a day or two ago that they're perfectly fine? FTX US vibes here.

If you're running your own node and using Zeus as your wallet, you can connect via Lightning Node Connect.
You can read about it here: https://docs.lightning.engineering/lightning-network-tools/lightning-terminal/lightning-node-connect
Basically you create an encrypted tunnel which lets you connect to your node outside of Tor, so it's super fast. There is sort of a third-party mailbox server in the middle but everything is enceypted.
Awesome, you've really done a great job with it 🙏
Nostros on Android is close to being my daily driver.
NIP-65 implemented, best thread view on mobile, no OOM crashes.
I think I just need a search function.
🤣
Sucks. Let us know when you get a new key!

Hope it works out for you, whatever you decide to do 🙏
I sure hope so! It takes a special kind of pyschopath to hold something they don't believe in during 80‰-90‰ drawdowns 🤣
Crypto? Yes, probably.
Bitcoin? It depends on the timing. Every time the price of Bitcoin explodes, we can see the number of active entities explode as well, suggesting new enrants into the space which are likely retail investors. After the big crash, the active entities decreases but stabilizes higher than past cycles.
Based on the data, there has been little or no increase in retail investors since mid-2021. The entities active right now are long-term holders. If they are interested only in fiat gains, they're at least long-term investors.
It's frustrating to watch people fall into these traps and ignore the advice.
Bitcoin can be brutal in that it exploits people's greed and lures them in with the hope of getting rich. All we can do is encourage them to really learn more about why Bitcoin is important and more than just some "investment".
Speculators usually lose their money. Good luck to you though, at least you didn't use leverage.
I wonder of this means Nic Carter's VC firm had funds with SVB?

I don't meam to dunk. His star will rise, one day.
I'm happy to be corrected on this, but what you see in exchange prices of USDC is dependent on the liquidity on the exchange. In times of high volumes, liquidity on exchange gets drained. It's not an algorithmic stablecoin like Terra was.
At the end of the day, if USDC is able to accomodate the redemptions in a timely manner, then they're fine. Given we know they have a $3 billion hole in their cash reserves now thanks to SVB, I personally wouldn't want to stick around and hope they can make good on redemptions. I also don't touch stablecoins though 🤷♂️
