First we identify it. Then we take it. Then we build poor/debter prisons. Then we...
Superb video as always.
Or perhaps information flowing freely to the people vs. information flowing freely to fascists (gov/corps)?
Ability to have pseudonymous and therefore multiple and/or disposable identities. This makes using nostr much safer than using deep state enmeshed platforms. And is generally safer to keep your real identity private from the entire planet.
And when everyone decides to suddenly call themselves Dan it makes things less confusing.
That's really useful info. Thx.
A real pain going in and out of the fiat world. Just want to go into bitcoin and stay in. Looking forward to bitcoin only exchanges for property, bitcoin banks and lending/mortgages. No fractional reserve. No global banking connections.
Kind of like old fashioned community banks. But would have to be completely in the Second Realm. Maybe they already exist...
Presumably, bitcoin is not the issue but that they want proof that you have owned it for a minimum amount of time? Ie, would be the same problem if a family member gifted you the same in dollars from their bank account, and you had not held it in your account for the minimum 60 days?
Whitney Webb and Mark Goodwin explain how Trump is working with Peter Thiel (Vance) who's company Palantir developed facial recognition technology that made Jan 6 protesters easy to recognize, leading some of them to still be in prison today.
What do we learn about Trump? He works with people that will completely fuck over his own supporters.
The surveillance structures being built by those close to Trump (and the Democrats - it's just the uni-party after all) are to identify dissidents of both the right and the left.
And the icing on the cake? Gossip is that Trump is considering Jamie Dimon as US treasury secretary.
Rest assured, Trump will completely fuck over bitcoiners when elected. It will make is easier that all the conference goers will have their faces scanned and cataloged so they can be at the top of the shit list.
Bitcoin Liberty Live: Episode 12
nostr:npub1zp8k7l0nc5wff9qpx5cyxsrtca6c9ewu6mr4pc23ftf4wgst7jvsexkqsl and I discussed everything but the big news of the day. Incentives, greed, free will, luck, and the tactics of large corporations.
Wonderful chat. A plug for the importance of scientific skepticism, humility and doubt.
A key common element of religious cults (or new religious movements if you prefer) is that, while they may not be correct, they are definitely not unsure! It's sad that mainstream society is not immune from this thinking either.
Indeed, most people find appealing the claims of people being able to identify life's problems and therefore, its solutions. Sales, politics, religion, bitcoin.
Buddha think realized this. A major source of people's (society's) suffering is the clinging to and identifying with, delusions. Salvation = letting go of it all, holding all these ideas, including ideas about who you really are, and the nature of reality, as practical working ideas/hypotheses, rather than objective truths about reality.
The more you know, the more you realize you don't know.
Looking forward to watching more of your videos.
If you replace 'state' with 'public/private partnerships' you get fascism (or Corporatism as Mussolini preferred to call it).
Kinda like, communism sponsored by Coca-Cola.
The Tornado Cash trial against Roman Storm is not a trial against one person. It is a trial against us all.
Is the right to financial privacy protected by the US Constitution? And will code remain classified as free speech? Will we turn the law on its head by arguing that those seeking to keep their private life private must be guilty until proven innocent, and that any person aiding in such undertaking is deemed guilty of conspiracy to commit a crime, because criminals want privacy too?
Who is criminally liable for the anonymizing of funds taking place via Tornado Cash today? Does money equal speech?
The questions posed by the Tornado Cash trial are as broad as they are significant and will define how the US Constitution is applied to the digital age.

Ain't that the truth. Love your work.
That's great news and I'm sorry to here that [sic].
Ethereum looks like she could lift a doughnut or two. Probably win in a head-to-head contest tbh.
Love your videos. You always seem to nail the nuances perfectly. The good and best benefits. Thx. Pumping out your stuff to nocoiners as much as I can...
No doubt, but I'd guess that billions of US-Americans and Europeans also need escape from their authoritarian regimes’ financial oppression. That is, the current banking system - that surveils all transactions and freezes bank accounts on a whim, with no customer recourse. Digital prison is getting built very fast. Soon will be just like the rest of the world and dependent on bitcoin to survive.
Bitcoin is rules without rulers - one of the greatest anarchist achievements to date.
To be fair, should really ban all countries from the Olympics. It's only state propaganda mind control.
Imagine an Olympics where no one knew the nationality of participants...
Yep. No point watching anything election related from here on in (as if there ever was).
Also, by strange coincidence a 20 year old in the crowd died moments later of lead poisoning in what is suspected to be a CIA assisted suicide.
