It comes down to the individual to make that change themself.
I personally help the homeless where I live, with other people, out of my own pocket.
That's me doing the bare minimum, I could do so much more.
Voluntaryism all the way. :)
Endless welfare recipients, not good for tax payer and also not good for the recipient in the long term.
This can work to an extent, but it would have to be preducated on, if you don't find work within a month you lose the shelter
Else there are those who would simply stay.
I have successfully gotten IPv6 and Babel (for routing) working over LoRa, tweaked the radio parameters enough to get reasonable throughout.
Next up, in 2025, I will obtain another node and do actual packet forwarding through two hops

It's working very well now. I'm taking a break but should finish up the tutorial relatively soon now.
As a teaser here are some of the results:
Kernel routing table being updated with routes (`ip - 6 monitor route`):

`tncattach` running and `babeld` running over the interface is provides:

Let me know if it works as this sounds like a huge scam π
Progressing well, be back in like 3 hours whilst I finish this up
I can confirm, I also switched machines (both in same room for convenience) and they are both running Fedora so no weird distro differences.
It is working correctly now, what a relief.
This shouldn't take too long then tutorial wise!
From what I can see they are two major different releases and there is some incompatibility between 12 and 13 - unsure if it affects me but running the same version across it would probably be the best idea
The experiment (and tutorial writing) is picking up pace again. I figured out there is some bug between the `babeld` versions I am using between the two hosts I am testing. I think it is causing some routes to not be advertised, it is also very sporadic as to when it works. I believe 1-12.1 and 1-13.1 have to have some differences between each other. I *definatly* know that it isn't the actual LoRa TNC link as link-local traffic is TX/RX'ing fine and I have great signal quality after I changed to better antennas on both sides.
I will come back to this thread and place what I find when I do, I can probably continue the tutorial with these two incompatible versions but honestly I want to fix it first - however I don't know how much time I have for that. I will have to see.
Ah, I am thinking of this one
I guess he meant hold as invest, understanable.
Ah, mmmmh. I need to find the post.
