It will be a much fairer system filled with untainted positive incentive structures, hopefully resulting in less crime, etc.
I do think there will be large wealth transfer and I plan on being a beneficiary of that transfer, so guess my point is more of a self note to live with integrity and be humble if/when that occurs.
Even when we make it to a bitcoin standard, people will still resent it just like people resent money today. Greed will still exist and people will still worship it and put it ahead of the truly meaningful things in life. It will just be more fair system, but vice will still remain. When bitcoin wins, I for one will do my best to be charitable and prioritize my relationships and well being, not the endless pursuit of accumulating more bitcoin.

Just read Bullet Train (yes like the movie) and Three Assassins by Kōtarō Isaka. Fun, fast moving, and comedic just like you'd expect if you saw the movie. Moving onto Snow Crash now. These choices come after reading a quite depressing yet prescient string of novels, ending with 1984. Felt like I needed to lighten things up a bit.
This hits home. You basically just described where I'm at right now with Twitter. Embarrassed to admit it, but if I'm being honest with myself, It's an addiction.
