I miss that pod too! And hope they are doing well. I suspect that they stopped podcasting around the same time that Swan was having troubles and laid off a bunch of employees. I think that Swan might have been their biggest sponsor and might have had to drop them?

This was many years ago, but I recall thinking differently after it. 
Use the client(s) that you expect / guess that your users will use the most for your product. Something like the 80/20 rule where you can vet out the system end to end but also productively using the probable path most will use. Without researching nextblock, I’d assume Damus, Primal, Amethyst or Fountain.
