I really don't think it is bigoted to want your own people to survive, and no people can survive without an exclusive territory of its own. There is a concerted effort among certain groups to prevent European-descended peoples from ever again having exclusive homelands, and that effort needs to be exposed and defeated, for the good of all Life in the Universe. You might be surprised by how much I agree with you about the downside of many White conquests and the forced assimilation of other peoples. With good will, negotiation can solve many of these problems. And, with only minuscule exceptions, all peoples have been conquerors, including Amerindians.

For Roark I agree. And I admire his conviction of character.. but in the end the book could have called Roark vs Even Bigger Assholes than Him and not been far off.

I think the book makes some excellent points.. I just find the character interactions stiff and unyielding to any other perspectives aside from their own.

Lately I've been re-reading Ayn Rands "The Fountainhead" and while the writing is good.. I've made two observationts..

1. It's not a hard read.. a long one but not a hard one - not sure why people have said it's a "hard read".

2. At the end of the data every single character just stubborn, pigheaded, lacks any growth mindset and refuses to see anything from the perspective of anyone else. Even the "hero" of the story. It's people trying to out-asshole each other in a contest of assholes. At least the "hero" of the story is an honest asshole..

Two months ago, Meta banned me from all platforms for false accusations. Two days ago there was a meta exploit to get back any banned account. I used the exploit to contact a few friends but got banned again today.

How can a platform have this much power over someone’s social life? Many, many friends I have I won’t be able to contact anymore. All because a platform decided they don’t want me to be a user.

Only fans creators, drugs, gambling, and all other sorts of degeneracy are allowed on their platforms, but I’ve been blacklisted. If you want to go further down the rabbit hole, look at r/InstagramDisabledHelp.

A word of warning: If you still use mainstream media I’m not going to judge you, but BACK EVERYTHING UP. If you lost access to your account tomorrow (and it is VERY possible even if you think it will never happen to you) at least you have your memories. You’ll still lose contact with friends, but you’ll have all your data.

Have a look at what data they collect on you too, it might scare you away from using the platform.

If anyone does have any info or connections on how to get these back I would appreciate it, as I’ve lost significant revenue due to being banned.

Hundreds of “Treasury Companies” are popping up because those corps want to jump to the next best thing.

They want a store of value they can borrow from.

They’re putting billions into it because they believe in it.

They’re not going to spend it either. They’re going to borrow against it.

They’ll borrow against their store of value.

I imagine they'd jump to the next thing for the same reason they jumped into Bitcoin. Bitcoin became a pyramid scheme speculators looking to get rich.

So for example, let's say some shiny new AI gimmick comes along that is yielding BTC 2011-style gains. Those speculators would take their money out of BTC and into the next get rich opportunity.

I don't have a crystal ball, I just see vulnerabilities in BTC's position and am being cautious.

If BTC was just used as a currency like it was supposed to be, the price wouldn't be so inflated right now. It's a looong way down if it pops.
