I believe this is the latest, but best to check the schedule:

There is no better decentralized AI solution than Nostr DVMs. If Nostr existed before other attempts, they would have used Nostr. It solves the identity and communication protocol issue that everyone else used shitcoin blockchains with smart contracts to solve, and then profited off of pump and dump schemes with the tokens. There’s even a new one called GenLayer that recently raised 7.5M that, guess what, launched its own token. I wonder how that’s gonna play out.

NostrDVMs can use any money that two parties agree on, and currently that’s zaps, direct lightning invoices, ecash, and nutzaps nostr:npub1nxa4tywfz9nqp7z9zp7nr7d4nchhclsf58lcqt5y782rmf2hefjquaa6q8 just implemented.

I’ll be talking all about these issues in my presentation Friday titled ‘Super(connected)Intelligence’ at #Nostriga

Excited for the panel on Evolving Digital Life @ 1:35 pm and the afternoon Tutorial on Data Vending Machines @ 3:45pm #Nostriga - come hang out and chat AI/DVMs on Nostr!

The tutorial is more of a general "What are DVMs and how do they work", and I have a simple example where folks set up a nostrdvm DVM. If folks have questions about nostrdvm library I will cover it as best as I can, but anyone who is interested should definitely reach out to nostr:npub1nxa4tywfz9nqp7z9zp7nr7d4nchhclsf58lcqt5y782rmf2hefjquaa6q8 and explore the repo!

en route to #Nostriga!!!!

In a way, every DVM job request kind is an AI benchmark, and the free market determines what’s the best algorithm at any time

I really want a feed of funny nostr notes, I’d possibly even pay for it if it took human(s) to curate it

The dream for DVMs is to be able to fall back to competitors when one doesn’t work, automatically. If a DVM doesn’t respond, you go with another one that solves the task. I’m hopeful we can build this but afaik it’s not a thing yet. For example, using information from dvmdash.live you could find the second most popular algo feed DVm for the feed you want and use that instead. (I plan to expose this capability eventually in a DVM like an API would).

algo feeds will be like 0.1% of DVMs, although they are the most popular right now (see https://dvmdash.live/kind/)

I totally understand the benefit of doing it locally, but you also miss out on the network effects. When nostr:npub16c0nh3dnadzqpm76uctf5hqhe2lny344zsmpm6feee9p5rdxaa9q586nvr puts out a new one, users of an app can benefit without the client devs touching a thing.

Tradeoffs.

I want a feed for people who recently posted after not posting for a while. The longer they went without posting, the higher their post is on the feed

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but be careful with serverless database hosting solutions. I may have accidentally racked up $640 in db bills in 4 days…😅

Luckily the folks at mongo are wonderful and gave it all back to me in credits

Does anyone have stats or a chart that indicates bitcoin adoption is increasing? Is this chart of "number of active wallets" indicative that the number of people using / hold bitcoin is increasing?

Is nostr.band not loading search results for anyone else?

Super excited to give my talk "Superintelligence on Nostr" at nostr:npub1nstrcu63lzpjkz94djajuz2evrgu2psd66cwgc0gz0c0qazezx0q9urg5l ! Here's a teaser slide:

Django gets a lot of hate and I love to remind people that robosats is a Django app
