lol “lifetime priors”. How old is he? 40s? Talk about a small sample size.
You should stop posting about this. The number of times there’s been hints of SBR is coming is very high and I wouldn’t be even a little surprised if it’s a shitcoin reserve.
I like Ed's writing, and I think it is important to always temper your sky-high fantasies https://www.wheresyoured.at/wheres-the-money/
I’ve been reading his stuff for a while. He gets seriously worked up about this topic and has some beliefs I disagree with, but I think he’s dead on about AI.
Have you read his piece call “rot economy”? It’s very good and he’s sooo close to understanding why bitcoin matters, but is just shy of it 😅

That dip to $16k hurt, not gonna lie. But I knew better than to sell
If you’re building something with a goal of making it censorship resistant and you’re using public cloud infrastructure, are you really censorship resistant?
Conversations about abolishing various taxes, cutting govt spending by a meaningful amount, attempts at disclosure on various fronts. It doesn’t mean anything will come of it, but the fact that we’re even talking about this stuff at a national level is very interesting to me.
The speed at which the Overton window is shifting is pretty remarkable.
The initial excitement of DOGE is starting to wane. Where are the results? Musk oversells way too often
The weather is gorgeous today and I’m so thankful. Stoked for spring.
My son “failed” his first hearing test despite me showing clearly that he can hear. They’re not that useful imo.
Happy she’s doing well though!
Why does everything have to “go from analog to digital”? Why can’t we just rely on how things are sometimes?
It’s very difficult to break into tech work right now. There’s a huge amount of chatter as to why, but I just thought of something.
Companies may not be able to afford hiring junior talent because fiat tech companies are so riddled with tech debt that they need people who can come in and contribute immediately.
There’s obviously a ton of other factors, but my recent experience tells me nearly every fiat company has a completely disastrous tech stack.
Fiat orgs are so incredibly chaotic and disorganized that I am honestly surprised our economy is functional.
I’ve done a bit of job hopping lately and I’m blown away at how poorly some of these companies run. Dying to escape the fiat mines.
This is why I’m skeptical of people building apps with AI saying it makes them way faster. Sounds fiat to me.
I have a friend who boasts he’s written 800k lines of code on a project thanks to Cursor. I cringe at the complexity.
It’s scary to think how close we were to this in the US. And honestly, can still happen in the future.

I don’t think these are typical 365 licenses. If they’re the bigger packages that orgs buy in bulk, they can run into 6 figures for each of those, so could be millions.
Regardless, it’s definitely a very small amount in context.
Listen, I love Bitcoin but nothing more annoying than repeating the same old platitudes that bitcoin influencers spout all the time.
I hear that but is that privacy? Or inability to confiscate? ETH is its own thing. Done right, bitcoin can’t be confiscated either, at least not without a physical attack and coercion.
And on top of that, you don’t have to pay a small army to move it.
All I’m saying is, there are things about bitcoin that are positive when compared to gold. For literally no push back to be given to Tuckers statement was disappointing. But, I don’t think gold is useless and it certainly can be significantly more private, depending on the context.
