looks like i was on the right track...worked some magic and it's working now. nostr:nprofile1qy88wumn8ghj7mn0wvhxcmmv9uq36amnwvaz7tmwdaehgu3wvf5hgcm0d9hx2u3wwdhkx6tpdshsqgr4gch5mm8yl009fff4e7sfavxn9x76py9fctu7666ln5wjldkptv0dsqm7 thanks for the bug report, merge the update and retest. nostr:nprofile1qythwumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytnsv9ex2ar09e6x7amwqyvhwumn8ghj7mn0wd68ycmgv43kktndv5hhyetvv9usqgzn9kpsmllqnsf7wh5tz3wgy4cclsftqqplv8tpayrhwgw8llunevk4p6dz you can now disregard my original post :-)
Looking at this a bit further, it looks like it may be related to how I'm handle 'x' tags which is probably fair. Doing a bit of testing on my end and hoping that actually fixes it :-)
Dear nostr:nprofile1qythwumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytnsv9ex2ar09e6x7amwqyvhwumn8ghj7mn0wd68ycmgv43kktndv5hhyetvv9usqgzn9kpsmllqnsf7wh5tz3wgy4cclsftqqplv8tpayrhwgw8llunevk4p6dz, are you guys using a non-standard Blossom implementation or doing any additional work on the backend? I'm working on a frontend for Blossom servers and there seems to be some issues with blossom.primal.net I'm not seeing anywhere else. Mostly CORS stuff it seems, but want to verify before I can come up with a plan to support your Blossom server. Thanks!
GM, this is your daily reminder...

Yeah the UI for this isn't great and should he somewhere in settings instead of forcing users to see it.

Wasn't he ISIS? Lol
We really need more building and less complaining.
Not being a dev is an excuse not a reason. AI tools are good enough if you have common sense and an analytical mind. Don't have the time? Give value back to someone who can build it for you.
The more I work on projects like Bloom, the more I see how early we really are. I want to rebuild everything on top of Bitcoin and Nostr and I will do what i can to make that happen.
Ok nostr:nprofile1qythwumn8ghj7ct5d3shxtnwdaehgu3wd3skuep0qyt8wumn8ghj7etyv4hzumn0wd68ytnvv9hxgtcqyqqp3dlwx0aj2wzrvwwx9c5jlmrspf56jwcgacm5ck76juwfkw2kglr08fs this fucked me up.

Why? Its just shitty resolution videos of plasma balls.
You'll love the new metadata editing stuff, live now.

Too many still have a Fiat mindset.
Now skunkworks posts a video that looks like plasma… coincidence? 🤔

I remember seeing some expert recently claim that many sightings were Lockheed craft. While I am a believer in NHIs on Earth, itncertqinly seems that almost all UAPs alhave indeed been man-made.
They posted this as a joke, but I need this whole album. #tunestr https://blossom.primal.net/0e5b6abd221665e63b6f7117eb58498817fa514eaae6a7b74ca123eddbe1bd89.mp4
God this brings me back
Going to do some more testing but you can now also edit metadata before uploading.

Wow this worked perfectly...uploaded an MP3 to Satellite Earth which already had ID3 tags and Bloom read everything correctly and published the metadata event to my relays. This might be ready to ship by tonight.

not sure if it applies as a NIP-94 client, but I'm working on a Blossom/NIP-96 server/blob manager which allows users to edit file metadata. Here's a screenshot of me editing a music upload which should be in production tomorrow:
https://primal.net/e/nevent1qqs2xhr3sh6g4qh8h6c7wegav4kvfhm7un0ma34ksedfvxydhw0zzacea3ke8
Full feature metadata editing for music files coming in the next Bloom update. Working on also publishing ID3 metadata on upload as a kind-1063 event so if you already have locally tagged files, that same data will be uploaded to your Blossom server.

HUGE update: you can now rename blobs in Bloom!
This will post a NIP-94 event to your preferred relays. Bloom will then read the event metadata as a "filename" instead of simply displaying the blob hash. Now to integrate this into the upload form and we have something VERY usable.

Totally get where you're coming from. I don't think anonymity is necessarily a sign of a lack of courage though, sometimes people just want privacy.
Just sharing a little wallpaper so I can do some inception style post lol

Good read

Nosotros is pretty damn good, dev.nosotros.app
well that's fucking annoying:
blossom.primal.net returns 401 with preview: 'invalid x tag': the server is rejecting the Nostr auth event we’re forwarding (it decodes the event and finds an x tag it doesn’t like). That’s coming from blossom.primal.net itself, not the proxy.
Nostrcheck.me returns 500 with Error: Unexpected end of form: their backend never receives the full multipart payload (likely because it insists on a fixed content length and rejects chunked uploads).
Check out Bloom - Bloom is a simple to use and intuitive file manager utilizing Blossom and NIP-96 servers to store files in a distributed way.
Releasing the Bloom beta later on today. Bloom is a super simple and intuitive file manager for Bloom and NIP-96 servers. There are similar things around like Blossom and Bouquet but it looks like they haven't been worked on in a while and there were some UI things I wanted to tailor to my tastes.
Bloom does support server sync and makes every attempt to sync blobs across servers either via mirror where supported or direct upload if not. There's still some quirks with syncing and I've only tested it across a couple servers, but it should be pretty self-explanatory and simple to use.

Working on Bloom, a simple to use Blossom/NIP-96 file manager.

Glad I'm not the only one. Working on cleaning up my follow list. Bitcoin doesn't care, and lacks ther do I.
When someone complains about the radicalization of one side and bombards you with their radicalized ideal of truth, turn the other cheek and walk away.
We are at this point in history because no one wants to quit swinging their dicks around to stop and listen to each other.

Started a paid relay for anyone interested, 10k sats/year. This will be part of a larger project soon :-)
Productive night working on NostrPass last night:
-user defined relays
-relay connection status indicator
-better offline support (working towards full PWA)
-encrypted settings
-encrypted vault passphrase
-simplified UI
-tons of refactoring and code cleanup
Might need to change the project name since there seems to be a few projects with the same name, but will be ready to share something for public testing by this weekend.
NostrPass is starting to look pretty good! Repo coming soon.

She's the only one that has a ball sack and God bless her for it.

some serious shit is gonna go down in the UK soon, this is out of hand.
niche feature i wish every nostr client offered: relay selection per post. i need help, i know.
Just vibe-forked (lol) the Haven relay and added a whitelist feature. This means you can have comma-separated lists of npubs that are allowed to write to the relay, and for the relay operator, allows them to essentially mute read access (not sure why but hey, you can just build things).
I have no intention of merging this into main just yet as there seems to be an open PR for a future release that may offer the same functionality, but give it a try if you want. Just add your npub to write_whitelist.json, all other setup instructions remain the same as Haven. And yes, I am posting this from that relay running on my local machine because Nostr fucking rocks.
https://github.com/Letdown2491/haven/tree/feature/whitelist-owner
Still ongoing it seems? Looks like even the main site is down.
I actually quit using them because of AI
