Time for an update on the adventures of the missus’ old friend group - this one will be a doozy!

The two 7s have had an eventful few months.

The 7 who went on Tinder and had the previous BF split has received not 1, but 2 engagement proposals - 6 weeks apart.

Turns out she’s been spinning plates seeing multiple guys. The first guy is in construction and he has been flying in on weekends to see her (he lives in another city), she said yes, took the ring and made a big song and dance on socials about it. Then he said he wanted to move to be near her so they could start planning a wedding and life together to which she said no and broke off the engagement within weeks but kept the ring..

Other guy apparently doesn’t have her socials because a few weeks later he gave her a ring. He told her he had a “Christmas present” and when she opened it he popped the question. She said yes but has since walked it back, now that was “just a gift” and she wants ANOTHER ring, from Tiffany’s this time. Nevermind she has been shitting all over him with the girls saying he’s too poor and not handsome enough for her, she’s trying to extort another fucking ring out of him..

The other 7 has been dating a guy for 4-5 months now and she’s constantly unhappy. The fella doesn’t earn enough to sustain the lifestyle she wants so they are always arguing with blowups every 2-3 days. What began with weekends away, expensive dinners, and flowers in the honeymoon phase, soon wasn’t enough.

After just 2.5 months dating, before they’d even had sex, she wanted a joint bank account which he will fund 3/4 but she will spend. She’s been hankering for a ring too, clearly envious of the attention the other 7 has been flaunting. She planned out this elaborate proposal dinner at an expensive restaurant with a cake and huge bouquet of flowers and the staff involved and all sorts and “hinted” to him what she wanted.

So anyway last night was the dinner and fella pops the question, sure enough a ring and all the trimmings made for some very glamorous photos for socials. Literally THIS MORNING, not even 12 hours later, she’s complaining that he’s not rich enough and he won’t be able to save enough for the wedding she wants, within 12 months..

The guy had to take out a loan for the ring so yeah, he’s most definitely not going to be afford her lavish wedding within a year.

But the attitude and ingratitude is just amazing. I’ve never seen such toxic, narcissistic behaviour in my entire life and am regularly disgusted when my missus updates me.

These girls are out here collecting engagement rings like they’re fucking Pokémon. They’re just me me me me me, and the guys can never be right because these girls will demand literally opposing things days apart and not understand they are contradicting themselves.

The 8 appears to be courting richer older guys but has kept that more low profile than the 7s who gossip and bitch about everything.

All 3 of the girls are not lacking for money having uni educations and decent jobs/businesses but they’ve got in their heads that they need a rich man to fund some Instagram lifestyle, and anything else would be settling for less than they’re worth.

No doubt these are weak men enabling this, they don’t seem to have a spine between them, but I will say at least they have honest intentions towards long term relationships, unlike the girls who are just harpies trying to get whatever they can out of them.

It is a mistake that most Christian schools only expose their students to Christian theology. Personally, Christianity did not make sense until I had greater knowledge of Eastern Religions, particularly Buddhism.

I understand why they avoid teaching about other religions, for fear of leading the flock astray, but a broader religious understanding provides important context that, in my experience, strengthens one’s faith.
