Had a sticker on my first car back in the 90s that read Dont Steal, the Government Hates Competition. And ironically, the government stole that very car from me through asset forfeiture after I was caught with over an arbitrary amount of a plant. And then to make matters worse, the PD started using it for undercover ops leaving all my stickers probably causing some people who recognized my car to think I was working with them. Fuck the state, and every single person working for it.

The no tax is due to not all states having a sales tax so that's not an issue. But under IRS guidelines, a person technically must report all crypto transactions including the original purchase price and the price when it was sold / transacted. Not sure how well they track it though.
