Michael Singer was made to write for me. He just connects with me very deeply. The first time I read this book, it did not hit me, but when I read it again, it just spoke so clearly to me. The untethered soul. https://www.audible.com/pd/B006IE4OY0?source_code=ASSORAP0511160006&share_location=pdp
A closed heart may make you feel safer, but it also imprisons you. True happiness and joy will be blocked by the prison walls in your heart. Opening is scarier, but man, so much light is waiting beyond the prison walls. Open your heart.š¤
You have tapped into something amazing Lauren. I can see it all over your posts.
My love for control through overthinking and preparing for the worst was useful when I was young and living in the most troubled environment. That same form of self-preservation has become a barrier, holding me back from just enjoying life. It's one more thing to let go of. š§āāļø
This is true. I think if we worked on extending life and improving cognitive ability and judgment, we might have a good enough life without death. While I can see a path towards life extension and can see cognition improved, I don't know how we improve judgment.
I have always been fascinated by super
smart people being taken up and used by
demagogues, it seems being smart is not
enough to keep you away from doing or being evil.
I guess while I am thinking about it, we need to solve poverty and strife, as this is what has been used by the worst people to get the masses on their side and gain power.
This is a cool and fascinating conversation.
I think there is nothing wrong with being curious or trying to prolong life. After all most human beings want to live for as long as possible.
Death has taken a lot of good people but it has also made it so that there is an end to a Stalin. It has made it possible for old ideas to die off.
I wonder how life would be if people could live forever. The up side is all the good people we love never dying but so will the evil/bad people.
I am inclined to advocate for life but I couldn't help thinking about the downsides or unintended consequences.
this is wild.
We live in an age where you can get AI to give its legal opinions on the temporary restraining order against DOGE. Much better than getting some random persons opinion.
I just copied the judgeās order pdf text directly into chatgpt and got some pretty interesting results, and was able to ask follow up questions about specific orders:

When reading this my first thought was, lawyers can't bs you anymore. Using AI to learn is much easier than talking to experts. You can still consult with the experts but you don't have to jump in blindfolded.
oh brother I miss it too. many people miss it.
The social media dopamine chase promises fulfillment one scroll at a time. Just scroll one more time and you will find the truth, you will find true satisfaction, you will find happiness. Just one more scroll.
āLETS NOT PRETEND THE ONLY REASON YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH ME WAS BECAUSE YOUR APPLICATION WAS REJECTED.ā
Weird because ODELL has followed me for years and liked many of my posts. Thereās never been any tension between us beyond the application.
The moment I question his incentives, he makes up lies to detract from the question. This furthers my suspicions that there actually is a conflict of interest, per him funding Primal and Iris being its #1 competitor.
Or does OpenSats think weāre lying or something? Did they not see the demo in Latvia? Even nostr:npub1sg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q0uf63m said good job when I got off stage. Itās painful working so hard just to be spat in the face by people you thought were your friends. šļø
We got a lot of support from the audience & in the comments after the conference, but nothing but friction from OpenSats. The audience was literally cheering at one point! Odd because OpenSats has funded many projects that have almost no fans.
I donāt expect this message to change anything. Just writing it for the history books. When people look back, I want them to know what happened. Weāre still gunning for that bounty. I know it isnāt jackās fault, but man itās pretty sad to see us get denied for something he thought was āgoodā ā clearly thereās a disconnect.
One can only control what they do, the rest belongs to the gods. I enjoy working on cool and challenging things and working on git with the people I get to work with has just been pure pleasure. While it would have been nice to get support I take what's given as if that's all I need. I am just a happy participant in the cosmic dance. Whatever happens we're gonna be alright brotherāļø To me you have been a blessing š, I love you brotherš«
My view on the the people you mentioned and OpenSats is that they're doing their part in this life dance. They're neither good nor bad. It would have been nice to get support but divine mother gives us the support we need. That's why I am at peaceš
This is just my personal perspective haha. I can never hurt or hate without hating or hurting myself. So, I do my work and enjoy the journey. My reward are the good people I gain along the way. You're one of those people for me. Stay blessed brother. Let's keep doing our work, Right onāļø
I usually avoid confrontational conversations online. Nothing good ever comes out of them but I was surprised that you responded to nostr:npub1t89vhkp66hz54kga4n635jwqdc977uc2crnuyddx7maznwfrpupqwra5h9 like this. In all the time I have worked with him he has never had anything negative to say about you.
Colby is a really passionate guy, he goes after the truth even if it makes people uncomfortable. If you felt he was misguided you could have spoken to his point directly and not made it look like he has a personal problem with you. The question was not personal and it could have been responded to without making it personal.
I personally found you a very pleasant, smart, high energy person when I saw you and listened to you in Riga. This response has me shook.
The world has enough conflict. I don't want to add fire to it. Nostr and the world deserve better. š
I love this. nature is nature it has no fields. fields are for organization and study but they're artificial. Everything is connected and one should always remember that even within their chosen field.
you're shining the light Lauren. The brain is an instrument used by consciousness but not the source of it. I love thisš
you plug me in all the time. I am firing Kendrick up right now.
