Good characterization
Nextcloud has a scale for ethical ai. Can help in choosing models and services
been a while since I've listened. Not too keen on having your identity focused on efficiency and optimization, but he does bring an interesting conversation.
That would be fun to play around with. Any projects you know in that space you recommend checking out?
-More open source models and applications.
-Soverign services paying for AI nonkyc.
-Agential AI's with wallets and goals. Give them a task to accomplish, dont care how but heres a wallet to interact on the internet if you need to pay for anything.
Yes. Most basic form, this is how you can do it.
- Set up a VPS

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OWAqilIVNgE
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3dIVesHEAzc
- Follow instructions to install relay on VPS
https://andreneves.xyz/p/set-up-a-nostr-relay-server-in-under
- create new nsec
- copy it into the whitelist section of the settings.json file from the .nostr.local folder in nostream relay you just installed (https://github.com/cameri/nostream/blob/main/.nostr.local/settings.json)
line 76
```
pubkey": {
"minLeadingZeroBits": 0,
"whitelist": [],
"blacklist": []
},
```
- Sign in to nostr through an app
- add the relay you added
- only post with the hashtags you care about.
Whenever that user posts, it will publish to the relay. I know its not exactly what you want but its like 70% of the way there. Next would be to write a script to listen for hashtags but thats way less difficult. This will be challenging, but yoh def can do it. Don't be afraid to erase everything and start over until you get it right.
A scan. A 1.4 petabyte snapshot in time. To approach the limits of deep understanding that potentially lie in this dataset, someone or something is gonna have to label it 😶.

Also this is an interesting episode.

"how has the influx of women changed higher education?"
"women are dominating at the undergraduate leve|. There are more women in graduate school and now there are more women who are faculty... I think it is probably a primary contributer to a lot of the cultural shifts... because they prioritize the values of women.
if you look at the number of professors getting harrassed on social media for studying potentially controversial topics, those are skyrocketing.
There are changes in academic journals saying they would not publish and potentially retract science that has the potential to 'undermine the dignity' of human social groups... all these harm concerns and protecting vulnerable people that are starting to interfere with a process that at least at one point was about finding truth, 'if it hurts some people's feelings then so be it'.
all these DEI initiaves, all these things are the things that women would care about"
"Mostly people (academic) are against taking these moral concerns when publish something... (when asked) how certian should be that a certian finding could cause harm before it was supressed... and i think it was the most common response that we should never suppress scientific findings. (A less frequent response) 'there should be evidence that the only way to prevent the harm is to supress the finding.. but you get almost no one at the bottom where they decide 'it should seem like it causes harm"
"i think its that support academic freedom and publishing findings that are self censoring and those that are really concernef about the harms of studies and retracting papers are very willing to say what they think"

A fact we must contend with.

They're not too subtle with their intentions...

"Dangers on the road
I’ll scrutinize the four directions, one by one.
And when i stop to rest i’ll turn my head and look behind my back along the path.
A sorrowful parting
The karmic traces rise like weeds
Beat my body, bruise my soul
But i guess i’ll have to face it .
Roll up my sleeves and take it.
No mind here to erase it.
Aurora.
Crowded little room
You could have the sky
But the inner paints the outer world
And you’re cozy in your tomb
Fatigue a locomotion, adversities a strong potion.
The demons come to pollinate.
But i guess i’ll have to face it
Roll up my sleeves and take it
No walls here to contain it
Aurora.
I guess i’ll have to face it.
Open my arms, embrace it.
My liberty is patient.
I’ll step right in and face it.
Open my heart, embrace it.
No walls here to contain it.
I guess i’ll have to face it.
Roll up my sleeves and take it.
No mind here to erase it.
Aurora."
Good morning 🫂, pura vida 🤙
