FWIW, most people aren't ok. There's a major mental health pandemic going on around the world which is one reason why things have been so insane lately. Part of the reason nobody's talking about it is that we've left behind all our previous allegorical knowledge on the cutting room floor because we decided we were wiser than the last million years of humans dealing with often similar issues.
Men are easier in this regard, most just want a load to haul. Give a man responsibility and a bit of credit and that's a huge thumbs up. Unfortunately, I can't say for sure what might help a woman feel better in general. If I had to guess, I'd say an IRL social network of people she can depend on.
A man's purpose is to risk his life to protect and provide for his family. If one 24 hour shift can do that, there's a lot of men who would be ready willing and able to take that risk. It sounds a lot more pleasant than oil rigs in winter, and those'll kill you dead just as fast.
I'd do it, but we better do this fast because a million bucks ain't what it used to be!

there was this movie called Eclipse I remember seeing on one of the cable movie networks back when I was a teenager, it was terrible on multiple levels.
But OTOH the whole movie industry has gotten really bad now, so bad in the 90s might not even register on the shitty movie meter now.

This year, I began trying to walk with my son as often as possible. I load him up in the stroller, and I just start walking. In particular, after the beginning of July I tried to get out as often as I could. At some point I started recording those walks using my phone.
I didn't end up capturing all the walks that I did, and of the walks that I did end up capturing I didn't end up getting all of them because sometimes I forgot to put it down until late. However, here are the statistics.
I walked a grand total this year of 65 km, and that took 18 hours. I climbed the equivalent of 700 m on upward hills. And all of this work ended up, at least according to the app, burning 3800 calories or about 1 lb.
A long time ago I successfully lost a lot of weight, and people always ask me how I did it. The key isn't burning more fat as I've shown. That's an awful lot of work for 1 lb. The key is to eat less and to eat better. That's how people succeed at weight loss.
The fact that this is a tribal issue shows how pliable people are. Really, everyone should know enough history to know that "their guys" aren't in power forever, and it's only a matter of time until the censorship they think is right and just will be replaced with censorship they find wrong and evil, so we should strive to not encourage government censorship period.

Honestly, having a king as a head of state figurehead in the English commonwealth doesn't mean anything. It just means that you have the parliament passing whatever laws and then a governor general to rubber stamp the laws. If the king's governor general ever refused to sign a law, it would be a major crisis.
With something like the posted picture, the thing I can't help but think is "but what about the guys who achieve everything they want?"
There's normal guys with normal wives who have normal families out there. People with one income and a house and a car. It's rarer than it used to be, but the honorary boomer does exist.
I have these recurring dreams where I buy cars. I've bought big trucks (like cargo trucks), I've bought sports cars, I've bought vans, and none of them are legal to drive or insured. I have recurring dreams where I'm figuring out what to do about all these vehicles everywhere. I just got out of a trip to a place I supposedly used to live in dream world where I had to promise the current occupants I'd get rid of those big cargo trucks I left parked in our yard. And it's like "I think there's a scrap yard that'll tow them for free and give me a couple hundred for the trouble..."
Freud probably didn't have anything to say about used cars in dreams, but I think they represent subconscious concerns about responsibilities I'm taking on quietly that represent substantial effort or resources, but as long as they sit in the garage they're taking up a spot in my life but they aren't actively costing me anything but if I put the work and money in then I'll have one of a number of opportunities like having a variety of paid off used cars ready to drive.
