The rule count is too dang high I like freedom. #helistr

Anyone can join the #bitcoin network, at any time, at any amount of value. All you need to join is something bitcoiners want more than they want their bitcoin.

Bitcoin is a value measurement network.

My Bitcoin already exists everywhere in the world that has access to the Bitcoin network. I can move it to another address on the network from anywhere in the world where I know my private keys.

Those who study history often repeat it.

I think itโ€™s important to separate the men and women who serve their country from the politicians who serve only themselves and send those soldiers off to die in foreign lands.

From talking with a lot of Bitcoin veterans at great length, what Iโ€™ve found is they truly wanted to serve their country for the betterment of the American people, even if that meant sacrificing their own lives.

Many were swept up in the post-9/11 era of pro-war propaganda (understandably so) and wanted to make a difference by fighting for their country.

Then, at some point in the faithful execution of their duties, they became disillusioned, realizing that they were really serving the politicians and the military industrial complex, and that the reasons they were told they were fighting were not the real reasons.

This is of course a massive oversimplification, and I do not want to put words into the mouths of any veterans.

My personal experience from all of the veterans I know is they are some of the best people I have ever had the privilege of meeting.

In the words of nostr:npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev : โ€œBitcoin Veterans that hate the State are the best people in the world.โ€

I agree with Guy wholeheartedly.

If you want to hear from a truly badass veteran who is currently directly serving Americans disaster victims in need, check out nostr:npub1zx5cqhywhwxwdx5atdp6tku5k0vahzhy8uny7rwfj47477uvcvyqzcwmqm of nostr:npub1qktts9naunvjdwsktq5xjdhwh539xt4x0mqj4yxq0q9dvm03ljvs6sms0r

I had a great conversation with him on nostr:npub10qrssqjsydd38j8mv7h27dq0ynpns3djgu88mhr7cr2qcqrgyezspkxqj8 that I think youโ€™ll enjoy.

As a bitcoiner and a US army veteran, I think this oversimplification is fair. I look forward to listening to the conversation.

With $19.8 billion now tied up in Bitcoin derivatives, a surge of liquidity and speculation is flooding the market.

While this might seem like good news, heightened open interest can act like a double-edged sword. It exposes the market to sudden volatility as leveraged traders chase gains, creating the risk of liquidation cascadesโ€”where even a small price drop triggers rapid sell-offs.

If history is any guide, extreme leverage has a way of turning excitement into chaos. Picture this: In a matter of hours, Bitcoin could swing wildly, liquidating billions of dollars in long or short positions, leaving traders with heavy losses. As more liquidity piles in, the potential for a sudden market-wide correction grows, causing ripple effects across crypto exchanges and beyond. And with Bitcoinโ€™s growing integration into institutional portfolios, the shockwaves wonโ€™t just stay in cryptoโ€”theyโ€™ll spill into traditional markets, shaking investor confidence.

Interesting that culture talks about animals going to a processing plant (sounds industrial) and plants get harvested (sounds natural) when in fact itโ€™s the opposite.
