Sounds terrible. One of the great things of an aviation career is that it pretty much eliminates this problem.
True. My most useful questions to myself when raising my kids were:
1. How would I hope my Heavenly Father would treat me if I were in the same spot as my kids?
2. Are my actions teaching my kids to find comfort or dread in the concept of a Heavenly Father?

Definitely! There is no formula to shepherding other humans with a unique character and a free will. There are good general principles, but it’s a lifetime of continuous learning and adjustment for your specific family. Can’t think of a better endeavor though. Keep up the good work brother!
