I'm happilly married and have a wonderful child. So, it's an awkward feeling to mourn an ex-girlfriend. We were together for the better part of a decade from the time I was about 17 and throughout that time she struggled with cancer several times probably originating in an adolescent bone cancer. When we finally called it quits, we didn't speak much in the following years and she had no internet footprint. Yesterday I searched her name and found her obituary. It looks like the cancer finally took her. Despite spending all those years together we never shared common friends and her closest friends were her sisters. So I type this now just for myself and to just put it out there because I've got no one to pour one out with who knew her. God rest her soul. May all her secrets in her journals be kept, and may all her work of beautiful art find their place. May peace be on all those who she loved and were with her in the end.

I quite smoking weed a few days ago, for the 1000th time. This cycle is getting old. I'm kind of struggling today.

I have bever felt like i canI relate to people very well. Smoking has always helped me slow down and be more compassionate. I am tired of slowing myself and making myself small. Also, I'm tired of feeling so alone. Not sure if hanging out here helps or makes it worse. I want to believe that one day I will find my people and where I fit into this crazy puzzle. Or maybe this is just how it is supposed to be for me.
