I recently started their Rust for Bitcoiners class, and have since implemented a simple Caesar Cipher, attempted to implement SHA-512, and just finished my homework for using the bitcoincore_rpc create to build a simple CLI app.
Looking back on my journey learning to code, I wish I would have had more bitcoin related projects to keep me motivated and excited, instead I just built things like tic-tac-toe and static websites as I tried to learn JavaScript

Gm, the question of "what is bitcoin backed by" is a trap.
It frames bitcoin as a derivative asset, which is wrong.
Study bitcoin more.
They are also somehow economically left leaning.
Not all, but mostly the noisy ones are.
