As others suggested
- Make sure to mention which app you are using (like Primal, Amethyst or Damus) to help people help you 😉
- Post pictures, suggestions, thoughts, anything that comes to mind - ask women for experiences, do quick surveys...
- Set up your lightning address so people can zap you sats (smallest unit of bitcoin)
- The community is small, but growing, so just be helpful in building it...
Also follow nostr:npub1hu3hdctm5nkzd8gslnyedfr5ddz3z547jqcl5j88g4fame2jd08qh6h8nh and other women in the space 😉
Welcome!! This is really important - it's surprisingly tricky to align everything for milk production especially when producing barely enough. Timing, pumping, the right latch, bottles...
Did you end up rooting the Boox?
You just hit SB target demography age... 😅
Text from her shopping at Walgreens:
"It smells like San Francisco here"
"Somebody shit on their pants"
I have a spammer/scammer issue - they never want to talk to me 😢 last time the "Microsoft support" had a fruitful conversation with me for 10 minutes, he ended lovingly with "fuck you fucker" to show off his limited vocabulary and then hung up on me 😢
I like how they make it extra confusing by not calling it CLT.
Yeah, that's possible. So maybe involving sats isn't a good idea in this case. Or is there a way to setup the protocol in a way that doesn't encourage troll farms?
That's exactly what the app should recommend! Like the button should block your access to the app for a week and instead it should tell you where is the closest park or hike and it could play soothing music 😃
The idea was that one of your friends would be that human for let's say a week. You would pick the person based on your style (and matching biases?)...
E.g. Will's client would have button "let Derek handle this shit for a while" and Derek's client would have "accept dealing with Will's shitty spammers" (and it would be under well defined conditions).
Or in case of Roya I think multiple folks were interested in helping in some way.
So women on Nostr are being disproportionately targeted by trolls (likely kids, but nevertheless).
One idea to try - zap defense!
You could pay for someone to pre-review or filter the notes in your timeline and all comments to your posts.
Benefit - men get to see what women experience daily. People that are targeted get some help. If a real person or even a friend does the filtering, it can be nicely personalized.
Negative - this is like the South Park episode where Butters has to filter social media comments for Demi Lovato and Steven Seagal.
We could take this a bit further and anyone could request zap-defense help and people would send them zaps to their personal zap defense fund that's then used for paying to filterers...
We could take this even further and AI bots could be competing in this free market competition for being the personal filters...
Nostr apps could have a special feature section for this. Essentially "I'm being trolled and I need help" button that would automate most of this if possible. And this experience could also help mentor people through the situation, give contacts to actual therapist (if things get really bad), etc.
I know nostr:npub1wmr34t36fy03m8hvgl96zl3znndyzyaqhwmwdtshwmtkg03fetaqhjg240 has been talking about this topic some - is there already some solution like this?

Short Storytime!
There is a restaurant in Zurich called Zeughauskeller that sells 1 meter long sausages (and decent beer).
The flipside - my friend had a heart attack the night after having a dinner in this restaurant. I found out in the morning the next day. He had to stay there for couple weeks, had a surgery, but all ended up ok.

My book reading device! Nothing but books and notes.

Pump and dump gains a new meaning when breastfeeding a newborn. You leave it out for too long after pumping and the only remaining option is dumping...

Proton Pass now supports passkeys on all devices and plans: Beating Bitwarden to mobile devices

Passkeys are an easy and secure alternative to traditional passwords that can help prevent phishing attacks and make your online experience smoother and safer.
Unfortunately, Big Tech’s rollout of this technology prioritized using passkeys to lock people into their walled gardens over providing universal security for everyone (you have to use their platform, which often does not work across all platforms). And many password managers only support passkeys on specific platforms or provide them with paid plans, meaning you only get to reap passkeys’ security benefits if you can afford them.
They’ve reimagined passkeys, helping them reach their full potential as free, universal, and open-source tech. They have made online privacy and security accessible to everyone, regardless of what device you use or your ability to pay.
I'm still a paying customer of Bitwarden as Proton Pass was up to now still not doing everything, but this may make me re-evaluate using Proton Pass as I'm also a paying customer of Proton Pass. It certainly looks like Proton Pass is advancing at quite a pace, and Proton has already built up a good reputation for private e-mail and an excellent VPN client.
Proton is also the ONLY passkey provider that I've seen allowing you to store, share, and export passkeys just like you can with passwords!

As I said in the past - passwords are dead!
BlueSky is more hacker news friendly.
Nostr is more stacker news friendly...
Ok Nostr. We need to talk! This is not working out. I'm spending too much time on you.
I made the decision!
I'm now limiting you to 10 minutes per day!!
