Thank goodness for that mate. Two years ago we extended our old house and the works were completed just before Covid and that was a sobering thought, as we could have had half a house for two years with a gaping hole on the side!!
It’s going to Mexico with me tomorrow! Really good camera, haven’t used much recently, so always fun to break out of its carry case and get some use out of it again.
We had very strong winds here for about an hour yesterday and then it passed over, as if nothing ever happened.
Better be safe than sorry. I can imagine this is a real pressure point for boat owners nowadays with stronger winds, rougher seas, inland marinas will become more popular, more in demand?

It’s worth having a look, he seems to run sessions all over the country. Everything from a two hour walk to a full day of foraging, cooking and eating. Also does wild butchery.
He was originally a chef, so comes to it very much from that angle.

Exploring Hurtwood in the Surrey Hills and part of the Greensand Way
I’ve been experimenting with my Osmo Action 5 Pro as a stills camera and it’s very good. Here is an example taken up on the Surrey Hills earlier today along part of the greensand way. The trees and leaves are looking magical right now.
Lidl are building more and more stores but this one is particularly handy, as it’s walkable, cyclable and very drivable from our house. You’ve got to document the places around you.
