Thanks, therapy was actually helpful for me. It was a Christian therapist and they just spent a lot of time listening, I rarely talk about my feelings or problems so it was very cathartic.

I've definitely seen my weakness this past year. Life is hard, it's difficult being a father, a husband, a man, someone who is trying to do the right thing.
Circumstances have driven me very low, to the point of therapy and a lot of deconstruction of faith. But thankfully I'm on the way back up, being built up in a better way this time.
I know religious content isn't what people are probably use to on nostr but I hope it gives you an insight into my life and some food for thought.

In terms of contactless cards you might be able to use Uphold’s digital card. I have an account with them for Brave Tokens but you can add Bitcoin and use the card as a contactless option. Not sure what the fees are but you do get cashback for using crypto.
Long term I want to put together some resources for people to use to help with Bitcoin specifically in the UK, watch this space!
Goal for the next few months is to unbank my personal finances as much as possible.

No problem. My suggestion would be to get set up with a Bitcoin node first using something like Umbrel or myNode. Once you're confident running that and using it then progress to Lightning if you have enough liquidity to play with.
Currently running a BTC node. Main advantage for me is increased privacy of transactions.
I think running a lightning node probably isn’t worth it just for earning sats. You’re unlikely to be processing enough transactions to get a lot of sats.

Thanks for the info. If I understand correctly. If you only posted to your personal relay then you would have full control over removing your own posts.
That isn’t going to suit 99% of use cases as users will want to use popular, public relays that lots of users use.
A question about #nostr and #freedom
The decentralised nature of Nostr means that once something is posted it can’t really be deleted. Some relays might respect the request to be deleted but there’s no guarantee.
How does this conflict with the aim of freedom we’re pushing for?
Isn’t the right to have something withdrawn or be forgotten a part of freedom?
