I’d suggest looking at a YouTuber called Andrewism. He’s a “anarcho-socialist” and does some really interesting video essays. Don’t agree with everything but has a lot of valid points about community

I would caveat that it’s authoritarian communists/socialists. We have a lot more in common with the left anarchists. They want freedom from the state but generally have different ideas about how society operates

2. Beef dinner featuring “roast” potatoes from the garden.
Beef was silverside from a local farmer, slow cooked for 7 hours with some vegetables and stock.
Used the liquid and veg to make a gravy. Potatoes were done in beef dripping from same farmer. Didn’t have enough time to get them properly roasted though. Also didn’t peel them 😂

Had a really valuable call with a brother in the US yesterday. He reminded me that we need that challenge he called “the rock in the stream”.
Something that’s hard but if we stick at it shapes us.
Sometimes we feel like we aren’t moving forward like that rock, but we’re still being shaped by the stream.

I’ve seen your interactions all over Nostr and what I see is a divisive person with an attitude problem that is chronically online. As I said, how you behave is not Christ-like, I don’t say that for my benefit I say that for yours
One of the things I get concerned about is image metadata.
You can argue that you should turn off location tagging on your photos but I find it extremely helpful in my day to day life.
I’m incredibly paranoid that I’ll upload a photo with the location still attached and get my address doxed.
I know most file uploaders don’t actually keep the metadata but I have no way to be sure until it’s too late.
It’s a lot of friction to have to strip the metadata in a separate app before uploading.
Would be cool if nostr clients could indicate if metadata is present and whether to remove it client side or not. I know that puts trust in the clients but for open source clients that can be verified.
