How should a good Nostrich feel about this?

I have been burned by enough remakes to know I shouldn't waste my time. Exhibit A: Point Break. The most god awful boring exercise in banality.
I won't watch this based on principle alone. Swayze and Elliot deserve our loyalty.
If Alter Bridge were on Nostr I'd say Alter Bridge. Alas, I don't think they're here.
I still read and comment replies there (for now) but I'll never send him money for the "privilege" of giving them my ph # or any other personal info. I just wonder how long it'll take him to fully paywall the place.
What's with all the nesting doll quote notes?
L2 is "unintended?" Didn't Satoshi and/or Hal Finney talk about the need for secondary layers/protocols?
For those who may not be as technically-inclined or that well-versed with networking, would you recommend this set up guide?
There is no such thing. One man's n-word is another man's f-word is another man's d-word is another man's xyz-word. Word? Wird.
Isn't that what Coldcard does or offers?
I'll get right on top of swallowing a mini GoPro so that I can get a live view of the digestion of said burger. If you don't hear back from me assume the attempt failed.
Anyone know of a good "Bitcoin For Rednecks" book/video series/podcast out there?
#AskNostr
I just don't talk to people about it at all, with one exception being a couple that I know. I've talked to them at various times over the last year (gave them a book, earmarked time for them in case they had questions, etc) and every time it's been a waste of time. I stopped and hadn't said anything in months. A couple weeks ago one of them asked me if I was into Ethereum. I wanted to hurl my phone through a wall. The first time they ever broached the subject of crypto they mentioned Ethereum.
I just said no and changed the subject. The next day I sent them a text giving context for why not and they wanted to know which bitcoin they should convert their Ethereum to in their Coinbase account.
I'm tempted to just tell them that I'm getting out but that's me just thinking about my own "opsec" for the future. Maybe I should also tell them flat out if they're not willing or able to put the time and effort into understanding what it is, how to use/store it, and why we need it then maybe they shouldn't be messing with it in the first place.
The dark side of the force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural...
If I answered this here then how guilty would it really be?
Lol
The next best thing could be splitting the things you have to do and want to do in 2 different groups then take care of the things you have to do first. The things you want to do you can rank in terms of what you want to do most. Maybe do one thing you want to do least, something that doesn't take much time, and then do something you want to do most. Like a gift at the end of the day or something.
Just kinda work through the list like that?
