The Early-Christians wrote for internal consumption because they needed to create their own media to cultivate and encourage its earliest members. It was also helpful in building resilience against a hostile and skeptical mainstream Pagan Roman Culture.

We probably only have a fraction of what the Early Christians wrote to each other, but we have great examples dating as far back as Paul’s letters, according to consensus historical record.

I see something similar playing out in #Bitcoin right now.

It’s a special kind of Work being a Wordsmith. Requires a ton of practice, persistence, and patience.

But don’t dismiss the importance of Words over Human Action.

The Words lead the movement… it was true of Christianity.

It is also true of #Bitcoin.

One of the arguments I heard in favour of ordinals which sort of made sense, at the beginning, before shit got a bit crazy, was that NFTs on #Bitcoin would allow for the uncensorable publishing of important but controversial information. If its an NFT on Bitcoin it's basically permanent, forever.

But isn't that what Nostr does? Notes can't be deleted. Because they're stored in multiple places. Nostr is a permanent record. And its a feature that's built into the protocol.

Some dreams have real staying power.

I'm actually amazed that price hyper-bitcoinization hasn't occurred yet--whether top down or bottom up, east or west bloc. There are so many candidates that could smash the tiny price higher. Soon, only 5 sats per earthling will be mined each day--not even a petrodollar penny for the average family. When supply shock finally occurs it will be crazy.

Remember in the previous cycle when all the loudmouths were announcing 180k,240k, 500k for Bitcoin?

Now they are coming back announcing ridiculous figures, those people are bad for this space, they create false hopes and many people feel hopelessness when those figures are not reached.

Every time Bitcoin has to move more capital to go up in price, don't expect a peak beyond 100k at most 120k, that peak doesn't matter, what matters is that the weekly ma 200 keeps going up and for me that is the right price for Bitcoin.

Be humble and don't listen to the charlatans, Bitcoin is about dignity not getting rich.

People vs. Things

Over the past half-century, our focus has drastically shifted. Rather than channeling our energy into manipulating objects for human advancement, we've shifted towards manipulating individuals, and this is not necessarily for the better.

The manipulation of things has always been a fundamental part of human progress. Think about it. Taming fire, inventing the wheel, harnessing electricity – these are all instances of us manipulating the physical world to our advantage. This type of manipulation offers countless benefits. We can produce way more with our labor, travel more efficiently, and live easier and more enjoyable lives.

However, the manipulation of people – that's an entirely different story. Instead of leading to advancements, it paves the way for deceit and exploitation. It often culminates in fraud or theft, eroding trust and creating a more divided and cynical society.

The fiat money system is the cause. Infinite money printing means you can manipulate people continuously. Instead of manipulating things to add value and spurring economic growth, we've started to exploit people with freshly printed money. This situation has led us to naval-gazing, deviating us from the noble quest of advancing human civilization through the manipulation of things.

Bitcoin is what will change this mentality. When money is scarce, so will its vectors of manipulation.

The two biggest reasons technology hasn't completely disrupted healthcare, caused staggering price deflation among products and services, & released a strong trend toward better health -- is insane health regulations & massive subsidies for garbage food.
