If you connected it to another computer, there's also the possibility of a virus, ransomware, etc? Maybe? ....
However, I've had the experience of using an external drive on different machines and it messing up the permissions on the drive. If it will mount on a linux machine running a live-dvd environment, you might see if it's only a permissions issue. If it is and the files are all only data files (videos, text, pictures, docs, etc) and not software or a system, you might get away with simply changing the permissions (which you could do under the live-dvd environment).
But again, I would only try that on a copy of the drive. My understanding is that playing around with a failing disk (even a scan) increases the risk of changing bits here and there and making a recovery more difficult.
KYC : if you bought liquid bitcoin on a KYC exchange (or with a payment method that requires KYC on an exchange).
You can make a transaction graph since the addresses are not confidential, only the amounts are confidential :
https://blockstream.info/liquid/address/ex1qqfugcurkz6hcvz7lnqtfpfga0zld5fnqle50sq
If you buy at a merchant store and give your name or address, that information can be used, in combination with the transaction graph, to make assumptions as to other addresses that would be linked to you. Not the amounts but the destination of funds.
If you live under tiranny like in North Korea, Iran, Canada, the US, Australia, China, Russia, etc, that can be dangerous.
I like liquid and use it. But I believe coin control would improve the privacy guarantees it offers.
I wish I had something to recommend.
I use proton for some things, my own mail server (with gpg) for some other things, signal for some things, simplex for others...
I haven't found the silver bullet yet, unfortunately.
It's hit or miss at this point. I don't know what the algo is but sometimes you can create an account without an extra email Maybe the algo is related to VPN use.
However, if you look up temp mail services through yandex.ru, you'll find some that are not blocked yet ;-)
I remember a few years back they were (or claimed to be) under a yuuuge DDoS attack. They then said they had made a partnership with a security firm and that fixed the problem. When I looked up that company, I remember coming to the conclusion that it was linked to Mossad.
Proton are also people from CERN. I remember reading quite a few disturbing things about that group.
I still use the service for certain things, but I'm under no illusion as to what I'm getting.
Also, do you think you could do this :
- Have a direct http link for a particular agent?
I have people I'd like to mention this website to but who might object to having the full list of available agents visible (either for religious reasons or because they have young children).
It's great! I've been hoping for something like this for a long time and didn't have the technical chops to do it :-) Thank you!
Do you know if we have an equivalent, in the open-source LLM world, of the closed source LLMs that can do current searches? For example, I hear the new version of ChatGPT can do that and I see that perplexity.ai can do it as well. Perplexity also gives the links to their search sources so we can verify. But I don't want to use those tools because they are closed-source. And I only want to use bitcoin for payments. If those already exist, I'd love to be able to use them on your website.
Really hoping we can get current searches in the open source world soon.
In the meantime, I love what you've built. Been looking at the resources you mention on the home page as well.
By the way, it's a just a vague impression but I get the feeling that LLaMa 13b is more woke than the 7b and 70b.
I'll be using your website going forward for sure.
This one goes out to all the kings out there 👑🤴

Hilarious! Forwarded it to a bunch of people.
Could you tell me the name of the second song? Love it.
> I'd have to be a creeper and find a woman who is significantly younger than me.
Well, as long as she's an adult, you can let her make up her own mind ;-)
> I would certainly have to find a woman who is also a Bitcoiner. So the pool is really small. haha
There are women who will be happy to have you provide for the family and take charge of the money thingies. You can keep the magic of bitcoin to yourself if she's not interested. But... as long as she's not a pro-vaxxer... ;-)
Last I checked, they didn't allow a direct download of an apk, so they're trying to force us to use the google playstore. And again last I checked, the required permissions were off the scale. Not convincing for a privacy app. I figure it's a honeypot. I still use it for some things, but I understand what it is.
I guess you know best but we hear all the time guys having kids past 70. Are you absolutely sure you're too old for kids?
And by the way, if you live on bitcoin, the financial risks of a divorce go down pretty quickly.
Just my two sats.
The ID + selfies will send the ones who count our way.

I doubt it! The fries are probably made with pork fat (or olive oil). They seem like a good family, so I'm not worried! ;-)
Trying out swarmstr.com for the first time : Does anybody know of a bitcoin-accepting VoIP service provider (DID numbers + call origination and termination) ?
Does anybody know of a bitcoin-accepting VoIP service provider (DID numbers + call origination and termination) ?
I vaguely remember reading that newer versions of the firmware for Jade can do that.
I believe dealbreakers are a useful heuristic. There are so many great people on this planet. I don't have time to try to dig out the "less bad" part of the bad ones.
But you two (Will and Mallory) seem to be talking about something different : dating (so a new person) vs an established relationship.
The dealbreaker heuristic may not be as useful in an established relationship.
