Looks awesome. I made a similar stool with scrap wood. We call it the ugly stool. (Yours looks much nicer). But everyone sits on it every morning to put their shoes on regardless of what it looks like. So I call it a win!
I carried a maratac copper aaa for years. I was so sad when I finally lost it. Now it's resting somewhere deep in the woods.

I planted 10 trees this past weekend. 5 red oak and 5 redbuds. Nothing fancy, just whatever they had at the county ag tree sale. A little compost and some water to help them along. I've been planting trees almost every year. Sometimes one or two, sometimes 100. Slow and steady wins this race.

To me, the only thing that matters once I'm gone is what I leave behind. Of course I hope my soul ends up someplace nice, but not at the expense of leaving behind a mess on earth. "What I leave behind" is pretty broad... What do you hope to leave behind?

My barn gym is currently buried under moving boxes. Until I can get back to my weights, I'm doing daily pushups. Not much, but gotta do something to fight the slow decline with age.

https://www.coldstreamfarm.net/ is where I usually buy trees from. Finding fruits for sale is a problem because they go from rock hard to rotten in a couple days.
The paw paw trees are almost blooming. Kids and chickens love it ... I don't. Edible and native to my area so I'll grow it.

Loved making maple syrup ... I gave up half way through one time and turned the remaining partially boiled down sap into maple wine. Freaking awesome.
